The two best players I have ever seen in College football were Bo Jackson and Vince Young.

I can't decide which was the best.....both were head and shoulders above Newton.

Cam Newton will be a better pro than Vince. 6'6" - 250 lbs with a cannon for an arm. Plus, he can keep his cool and will surround himself with better people than Vince did.

4000 yards from scrimmage and 48 touchdowns against SEC opponents. That's really impressive.

I guy named Earl was pretty good. ;) Newton didn't particularly impress me tonight. Perhaps he has had better games. He looks like he has a strong throwing arm, but needs work on touch.

Well, considering the fact the NFL regular season is over, you are right. Also... considering the fact that VY will be signed by someone before next season starts, this comment really doesn't matter.

There is plenty in Cam's history to suggest this won't be the case...

    Herschel Walker says hello. :)

Seriously, as much as I hate him as an NFL player, Vince is probably the best college football player I've ever seen. My voice was sore for a week after watching him beat USC, and I didn't even go to UT.

he purchased a stolen computer & took money..

all im saying that he battled adversity all season and came up on top. i doubt we will see pics of him **** faced with his boys with his belly hanging out.

the jamarcus russell comparison is laughable. dude is in prime shape.

Again, what is your basis for this?

What in Cam Newton's history makes you think he will handle becoming a millionaire successfully?

I suppose that only time will tell. He seems composed to me when dealing with pressure..on and off the field.

Did you see his reaction after the game winning FG? He just had a big smile. He expected to win. There were people here that thought Bradford wasn't worth being drafted #1 and the money that came with it. I felt along that Bradford was a no-brainer.

Like tossing his stolen laptop out of his dorm room window when the police came to his door?
