I disagree. Who do you want to take the last shot of the game? Cam or Jalen? Shot is a 3? Shot is a 2, in traffic with the refs eating their whistles? Also, if you compare Cam year 2 versus Jalen year 2, Cam is the better player by quite a lot.

I could be very wrong here, but I think the number one reason he isn't getting minutes is he doesn't play within the flow of the offense. He has gotten better at it the last few games that I've seen, but one thing is for sure, when Cam gets the ball, he isn't likely to swing it.
Right now, Jalen, he's on a heater. If he goes back to his normal "4 out of 5 games suck" mode, sure, probably Cam.
Jalen Green? Because I don't want the guy doing what you ask here to dribble the ball behind them leaving the ball behind because they don't have guard level handles. I want you to analyze a half court set with Cam and watch how easily he stops his dribble
Every time Tari walks to the bench, he has that pissed-off look. But of course, he's awesome; that's just how he walks to the bench.
With Tari if he's doing that then I'm confident it's 100% he's angry at himself for what he thinks is underperforming for his standards. Tari seems like the most approachable fun guy on the team.
Yup. And I'd prefer to believe that his failure to pass is an attitude problem. Because I fear it's more of an aptitude problem: He just doesn't see the court well. Also, one weird corollary: I wonder whether Sheppard was shooting poorly because he was trying so hard to look for passes, while Cam shoots well because he's visually locked in.
Maybe there is more to it, but the reasons I thought he didn't get any minutes after a few games are that he shot 5% from three, showed very little (actually went backward) improvement YoY in everything, defense included. The dude is extremely talented. He may have an altitude problem, but he did in fact have a performance problem and probably an issue with not working hard in the offseason to improve his game. I am confident that if there is a coach who can fix whatever problem he has, IME is probably one of the best at it.
Cam might have an attitude problem because they always fake the DHO to him lol. I don’t see anybody on the team get faked like that except Cam.
I've seen it done to all our guards. Mainly when the defender presses up on the guard who is supposed to receive the hand off. Maybe they are faking it even when defenders aren't pressing on Cam? I've seen it done to Jalen and Fred plenty but defender was pressing up and denying the dho hand off.
I do think Sheppard was trying harder to fit in and be a ball handler rather than a shooter. He is being miss-cast as a PG on offense.
Cam only getting minutes when the Rockets up 20+ points and we're asking why he's frustrated?! What competitor with his type of ability and confidence WOULDN'T BE!? But i have to agree he need to just fake that ****. Look at Tate! Do what he does on the sideline. I'm rooting for cam but it's not looking to good for him with the Rockets atm.
