Give him some time. He's only 20 and also we have Udoka instead of Silas who I think is better suited for a younger player that needs to mature. I was a piece of **** at age 20 as were most men at that age.
I’m not seeing much. I don’t even know what happened in the video? He looks like he’s a little grumpy some times but that alone isn’t really an issue.
Clearly he wants more minutes, and doesn't like that players like Jalen can go 1-6 yet still get 2nd chances. What he is not aware of is Jalen has earned that 2nd chance...... So, Cam feels the odds are stacked against him - and it isn't the odds, just the situation, which is fluid, he is going to need patience. Now this is all observational, but what it looks like to me....could be 100% wrong. DD
I think that’s plausible but you’re also clearly putting your feelings into the situation. I think he just has a resting b**** face and Jalen Green has absolutely no impact on his attitude.
I don't think Udoka tells the truth or has ever been in a situation where he feels he was a better player. Udoka was a journeyman at best, always a borderline starter - not a guy who was used to being THE MAN... DD
That is not at all what I am saying, come on now, don't be a dick. I am saying that he might be frustrated due to the situation and feels that other players get more leash (and they do) and it bothers him, lots of guys that are UBER competitive feel slighted as a way of motivation, and if he feels the situation is unfair, and it might be, he will bristle at it. Now, he is only 20 years old, and there will be movement of players that are in his way in the next year or so, he just needs to be patient....... And that probably means that Ime has to spend a bit of extra time explaining what is going on - that is the coaches job, I am sure Ime will sort it out. DD
Other players don't get more leash. Look at happened to Green last season when he didn't play the level of defense at a consistent level to his standard. Benched dhim constantly. Now he doesn't. Ime doesn't bench usually because of bad shooting. He benches if he sees lazy play on defense. Ime is one of the most accountable coaches except when it comes to FVV but again he does all the "right things" like limiting turnovers, being consistent on defense and being a great communicator on defense etc besides shooting efficiently
Yes they do, your boy Green has STUNK several first halves but gets to play through it, and has earned that right because sometimes he comes back well in the 2nd half...hell the last game it happened 1-6 in the first...then went nuts in 3rd. Cam doesn't get that treatment, he gets yanked if he misses a few in a row - that must be maddening to him.....and may not feel fair. His situation is more the issue and those guys are just a little more senior than him - he probably wants a straight up competition for playing time....and Ime isn't doing that yet. It is ok to disagree - but don't lie about what is going on out there, several people have longer leashes...Green, FVV, etc. DD
The problem is Cam thinks he has a short leash when he does do well, like 15 in 17 minutes, then benched for the rest of the game. Cam sees the scoring, Ime sees the turnovers and defensive miscues. They're both have a point. I do think Cam deserves more minutes when his scoring is more than matching his deficiencies. It's a long season, and Cam is fresher than most -- use him! Also, lately I see Cam trying to do the right thing, but just doing it poorly. The right decision a split second too late, looking to pass when he has an open lane, etc... Much love for Cam. He'll get there.
He is also bristling at having to be more of a team oriented player, but in the end it will benefit him. DD

Sometimes the coach doesnt see you they see your draft position. Sengun had to overcome that too. Jalens draft position is why he has never been in the lgeague but probably should have.
Udoka was REALLY ticked off many moons ago when the Blazers cut him in favor of an injured, rehabbing youngster from Australia named Patty Mills.
