Whitmore's advanced metrics are better than Green and Brooks, the two positions he can play, and that's with him shooting 29% from BTA. Green sucks and Brooks is a JAG. If Whitmore's attitude can change with starter's minutes his production is going to take off.

I just don't think advanced metrics even come close to accurately gauging either a player's defensive value, or the overall value of good defense--at least, not the metrics the public has access to. Some front offices may have access to better data and better methods to weigh it.

Brooks gets the majority of his value from his defense, and JG has improved so much I think he might actually be above-average now.

I’m really concerned a lot of the time about processing. he will be open but step back and then try to go around his guy and then stop and step back and pop.

he either needs to shoot or take advantage of the clothes out and go right to the rim. Honestly, I have been underwhelmed his ability to drive to the rim in the half court. I think the skills and the physical ability are there. I think he just needs to go.

True, but that lateral shiftiness and quick twitch moves that Amen and Green have over him give them higher potential for being better defenders and also scorers in half court sets especially. Now obviously other things are also involved there but that shiftiness sure helps when it comes to the best of the best.

Lol it's very accurate. He literally did it in the clutch just two games ago. Drove baseline dribbled off his foot. To me it seems like at least once a game he just dribbles it out of bounds. I'm sure there is somewhere you can go back and watch his turnovers and it happens way too frequently.

Last night he barely even dribbled the ball so it didn't happen. Most of his points came on catch and shoot threes. If he can keep shooting like that I would be ecstatic.

Lol it isn't very accurate at all. You can analyze it with his turnover rate on drives. You can be as precise as calculating the dibbles per game he does which NBA.com literally records in their stats page with "player touches" and divide that by turnovers per game. Do it, see how he compares to Amen and Cam for reference.

Do you think your hatred of the player makes you remember his turnovers more vividly and is more ingrained in your head than when a player you like does it?

Wtf? When did he exhibit criminal behavior? When did he commit a crime? Or is this yet another ignorant biased take? If Lauri Markannen exhibited moodiness does this mean he’s a criminal? Tyler Herro? Austin Reaves? What has Cam done besides not showing too much emotion that would provoke someone to think he’s a criminal? Or is it something else you’re not saying here?

I think Nikola Jokic is likely to go to prison. He lacks emotion. Moody.

It's usually not when he drives. Most of the time it's when the screen defender jumps out on him and he has to retreat, then it's basically a turnover.

Most of his drives he takes one dribble and takes off. It usually when they make him actually do another move.

Again we don't need to trust each other's biased eye test when we can just see how many dribbles per game they do and how many turnovers per game they do and divide them and you have a unit called "dribbles per turnover"

Jalen Green's drives are not simple RJ Barrett style one dribble slashes. They often involve things like splitting doubles, snaking, stop and go hesitations, reloading, double crossing the big help defender etc.

Do you actually watch the games? And the data bares our Green dribbles a lot per touch. Its 4.3 vs 4.5 dribbles per touch for Green and Fred and we know Fred spam dribbles a lot. For reference Amen is 2.4 per touch
