I believe Cam Whitmore’s attitude issues were a significant factor in his unexpected drop on draft night. Let's see what else he pulls off this season.
I mean, come on OP, he might just need to pee. Agree he's shown attitude issues, but don't think this was one.
I don't know if there is truth to it, but a lot of people are running with the bad attitude story. He's kinda had that reputation for a while.
I have seen worse, he doesn't know how to channel it the right way yet. He does have a lot of mood and mood swings. Likely not on the Rockets.
Cam is starting to feel sorry for himself and isolating. It’s a teaching moment for Udoka so let’s see how he handles it.
But how can you act like that after a win? I know he wants a bigger role, and this season has been a challenge for him.
I had that in life where in one environment everyone was happy about everything but I kind of gravitated towards those that are little grumpy and honest at least. Where they had real life problems that are just more overwhelming than desk job successes. I mean I agree, in team sports, long term it could become a distraction.
I've said it before. He could either be an all-star or in prison 3 years from now and neither one would surprise me. He has superstar potential, but there might be some crazy mixed in there too.
What happened to the the courteous cam that picked up trash after the other team threw it on the ground?
Prison is pretty harsh. He's got an attitude problem though as others have pointed out. There's a reason he slid in the draft. He's not a superstar nor will he ever be. Best we can hope for is a hit or miss scorer off the bench. Unfortunately, don't think he'll buy into that role
I say let him continue to increase his stock and then we offload him for Fox or Booker. The Kings are dumb enough to take a head case with enough draft capital. Maybe we can get murray as well.
He's from a military family, and doesn't have a history of off-court stuff. I could see him not reaching his potential as a basketball player, but I'd be SUPER surprised if he did something to end up in prison
