I would welcome Calvin back to the broadcast booth with open arms. He and Bill had a pretty good chemistry that I don't think Bill and Clyde ever really developed...just still seems like there's a level of awkwardness there.
Wow the majority of us loved C Murph, he & Bill worked awesome together. I guess you're just the minority, unless my sarcasm meter is busted... ??? Anway, when he announced it he didn't say much of what he was going to be doing besides work with other HOF's & work with the youth I.e. going to the schools & speaking to students. I'm hoping for goodness sake that they consider bringing him back to the classic style broadcasting we were used to with he & Bill. So, I'm saying there's a chance!
Calvin and Clyde are of the same ilk, great former ball players who think they can get jobs and favors by just their name. At least with Bull, he does his homework on his craft because he knows he's not a big name, it's how he managed to have an 11 year career in the NBA despite being a limited talented player. Color me nonplussed and Les better keep an eye on the perks and the expense reports, Calvin is known to fritter away other people's money.
I was hearing that Calvin's Show on the radio was going to be gone but why? But after hearing you guys stated Calvin said he'll be back with the Rockets in some way, HELL, BRING HIM BACK TO BROADCAST!!!! :grin:
Could he possibly do radio color with Jeff or would that be some sort of conflict? That would be a great team.
i really hate how his family derailed his career and life.. it would be so great if he comes bak to broadcast Clydes voice and humor is terrible
