After years of not havin him with the Rockets organization, he himself has just announced on his show that he will be slowly but surely returning to the organization's plans.

Does this mean he'll be sitting next to Bill Worrell once again? Or maybe he'll be working as Aaron Brooks' guide to becoming great.

I'm just glad he's finally back!

Please move if this does not belong in the Garm. Thanks.

    Nice....

He deserves another chance. Clyde's keeping his seat warm.

I guess someone in the Rockets organization finally listened to Clyde trying to do a broadcast.

PLEASE BE TRUE THAT HE WILL BE BROADCASTING AGAIN!!!

It would make Rockets games that much more enjoyable. I am so tired of Clyde and Bull, no offense to either of them, they just get on my nerves.

Maybe the figured Bullard wasn't cutting it on the road.

Or, perhaps Clyde is retiring seeing as he only does home games anyway.

My personal opinion? Calvin on the road, Clyde at home would be nice. Bullard doesn't belong on there; he merely complains about the refs and points out ticket information. I enjoy Clyde though... the stuff he says sometimes is comedy gold.

The nail in Clyde's coffin was when he told Bill last night that the Hawks' broadcast guy "was juicin'" and that "they don't test announcers for that"

Ok, that might not have been the nail in the coffin but it sure was funny listening to Bill Worrell trying to get away from that land mine.

Welcome back, Calvin!!!! In whatever capacity you return to.

This is awesome news. He could be incredible for AB, but selfishly, I'd rather see him calling games or at least doing sideline stuff.

    I miss those awesome suits.

I hope he replaces Clyde. I never cared for Calvin's announcing (years later I'm still sick of the cookie jokes), but Clyde is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I bet it's more coaching than commentating.

Bullard has at least improved and it would be surprising for them to can Clyde after stickign with him so long.

Calvin really is a perfect person to coach AB because of his stop and pop and his off ball scoring as a small guy.

he could teach aaron stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXK8n1tI69Q

I really like Calvin and Bill working together, but I also like Bull - either bring back Calvin for ALL the games, or for just the home games.

Clyde Drexler was a great basketball player.
