Is Sampson proficient at operating a phone? It can be pretty unnerving when one of those new "text message" technology things pops up.

I think that even is Sampson thought TD was the better match up for Lillard in OT, which is baffling, Lin should of played, you want to develop the players you have for the next couple of years...

After last nights game where he said TD & Lin played well that was probably just him doubling down on his decision to play TD in OT. If he said TD didn't play well then people would be wondering why the hell he benched Lin. Unless he seriously thinks TD is a good defender but frankly I wouldn't be surprised the man is in over his head.

lfw, I watched TD all last year and agree 100% with your assessment of his game. That said, he seems like a nice guy and appeared very supportive of all coaching decisions, including his benching during Linsanity.

Wow. Lin defensively in isolation is .27 ppp? Small sample size but impressive nonetheless.

Yes, great kid and not surprised at all that Sampson took a liking to him.

Letting TD play in OT was sort of a surprise. However, in the long run having TD get some minutes and trying to improve his game may be beneficial to the team. It's a long season.

Having Douglas shoulder a OT loss is not a smart move by the coach.

This fiasco is all on Sampson. Lin apologized for the airball. But, Sampson is like lolz shucks eye test.

Interesting.... fans should see Lin as a team-oriented basketball player... Not some Pop Star living in perfectionist make-believe..

It's so obvious sampson is a fraud. mchale is not much better. This team is going to continue to lose a lot of basketball games with sampson at the helm.

It doesn't matter if he agrees or not, if you don't have the talent, you better shut up and do as what you are told to.

Right, why not start all the bench players for the rest of the 70+ games? That'll be good for the next season.

Houston is such a strange town/culture. Sampson is gambling on his rotation, not run plays on offense. Yet, the media is covering his rear. The media also had a love fest for Lowry and Grogic leaving, yet put Lin under the microscope instead of a warm welcome.

LA and NY media is harsh, but they bash everyone. My only guess, is the Texas football state thing and basketball is for lolz trolling. Afterall, Texas still have Spurs and Mavs.

The way Sampson coached last night makes me wonder if he had money on the game.

You mean it's fishy like when McHale gifted Garnett to his old team Celtics?

Yes, we have a great coaching staff.

    Also, didn't resign Adelman.

The guy who only played Jeremy Lin because aloof Knicks PGs were injured or suck horrendously?

Oh wait, he still didn't play Jeremy Lin at that point. Instead, he was forced by NBA Rules regarding guaranteeing a partial contract. Its funny that the guy who thought Jeremy Lin to be absolute trash is now being hailed as his savior by Lin fans.
