I guess Tim was either demoted or promoted then.

Unless the Rockets have 2 Marketing VPs now.

The guy needs money as always (how the suits started in the first place)! Especially now after he's got all the bills from his lawyer.

There are VPs and those VPs report to the "Senior" VP ... Tad is the Senior VP. That's basically how it works if I'm not mistaken.

The statement is up here as well.

TAD BROWN: What’s up, Jeff? How’s it going? Uh, we have sort of a problem here. Yeah. You apparently didn’t put one of the new coversheets on your TPS reports.

TIM MCDOUGALL: Hello, Jeff. We need to talk about your TPS reports.

Did the Rockets hire Van as color commentator so we would beg for Murph to come back?

    Me ignorant.

Could there still be a civil suit like the one OJ lost?

Murph isn't nearly as rich as OJ. As a matter of fact, I would say that Calvin is broke.

Good sign: The jury only deliberated for two hours before reaching the verdict. Generally, that means that they took a vote right away (most juries do) to see where they stand. At that point, it was probably unanimous. They then wrapped up all the paperwork, had another free lunch on the city, then sent word that they were ready to deliver the verdict.

Two hours of deliberation is about the minimum you see in a jury trial. The evidence must have been overwhelmingly in favor of Calvin being innocent. Best Rockets news I've heard in months.

I would like to have Calvin come back after Christmas. However I think the Rockets will wait till next season to let the dust settle.

I got the pleasure of meeting Tim as well at the Rockets Holliday party. I told him I enjoyed reading his posts and he said that he is only able to check into Clutchfans in the early a.m. as the site is blocked at work!

They don't want JVG reading any of this stuff. The guy's in such a bad mood all the time anyway, reading our posts might just push him over the edge.

I was wondering if this petition can have its own topic:
    http://www.petitiononline.com/murph23/petition.html

Even though it seems like Calvin wont be back with the Rockets this year it would still be nice to collect as many signatures as possible and send it to Calvin and the Rockets organizations to show how much the fans appreciate and support Calvin Murphy.

    ;)
