Allegations involve TV analyst's children http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1771421 HOUSTON -- Former Houston Rockets star Calvin Murphy was charged Monday with five counts of indecency with a child, allegations that involve his children, prosecutors said. Harris County District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal said his office has notified other jurisdictions about the charges here as an investigation into Murphy continues. "He has a number of families around the country, according to our research," Rosenthal said. Murphy's attorney Rusty Hardin and the Houston Rockets did not immediately return calls seeking comment. Murphy, who works as a television analyst for the Houston Rockets, was a star guard for the franchise from 1970 to 1983. The Hall of Fame sharpshooter, who at 5-foot-9 was known as the "Pocket Rocket," had a career 89 percent free throw percentage and averaged 18 points a game. The alleged indecency occurred in Harris County over a period of several years, Rosenthal said.

Paula Poundstone... the issue with her was that she was unfit cuz she abused alchohol/drugs. She agreed to attend rehab and was exonerated of any sexual misconduct. Her kids were toddlersm btw. Calvin's kids appear to be much older, so their allegations may carry more weight. Either Calvin is not who we thought, or he's got some really sick and perverse kids who are out to take what's not theirs. I'm hoping for the latter, cuz if true, this will just make me question a whole lot of things.
