I wonder if you and Scooter T will manage to hold on to your sense of humor if you ever find yourselves accused of something like this. Now THAT would be "pretty durn funny!".
This kind of thing is often brought here on the BBS. I remember similar discussions from the Kobe Bryant case. How can you convict in a he-said/she-said. The answer is: testimony is evidence. You can convict on testimony alone; especially if you have 5 witnesses will collaborating stories. It is up to the jury to decide on the trustworthiness of the testimony. It is possible to have proof beyond reasonable doubt on just testimony. I assume Murph's defense will try to assign ulterior motives for the testimony and try to show inconsistencies within and between witness testimonies. There's not much else to do because there likely won't be any physical evidence to help either side. If Hardin can't make the accusation look made-up, I think he'll lose.
I saw this and I was dumbfounded...Murph... Well I agree with innocent until proven guilty, but his name will be dragged through the mud until he gets his day in court...
I asked myself that same question. What relevance could that possibly have? It would be one thing to talk about a "$35 million" home, since there is some suspicion that the charges may be related to extortion. But $350,000 ... ? I hear that he parks a $13,995 Toyota Camry in the garage.
I don't know what the point of saying the value is. It's almost like the media thinks that "oh people like to see rich people get in trouble"
Fox 26 just had a report with a tattoo artist who came foward with information that Murphy's children are railroading him. He's willing to testify in court. I missed most of the report, just caught a few of the details from my brother. Nevertheless some interesting news.
Ok, Channel 2 is talking about the story He's a Tattoo artist named Uncle Bob. His kids talk at the parlor and he listens. They confessed 5 years ago they wanted the money. Constantly the kids brought up their dads money. They wanted the money. He says they were conspiring to get his money. Trying to figure out a way to get control of his money. So, there ya go, very interesting
Q: A1. They wanted to know how many suits CM could trade for it. A2. They thought that if it was worth more, CM could contribute to the CC tip jar
If anybody would like to see the "Uncle Bob" info here is the link http://www.click2houston.com/video/2969631/detail.html
