Any win on the road is helpful. The Magic is not a G- level team, despite it's shortcomings.

Not that long ago we were a g league level team with a good chunk of the core thats on this run. It’s okay to be happy with the current success.

Yeah it's hilarious, right now 9 out of 10 people you talk to seem to have known Shai was going to be an MVP candidate and a championship CENTERPIECE when he was traded but at the time 9 out of 10 people wouldn't have bet $1 that his ceiling was that high.

From the first article that comes up when you search SGA 2018 article (a report card from a clippers site):

    Sound somewhat familiar?

What would Jalen's first 2 seasons efficiency had been like if he were limited to 10 shots like Shai, Kobe and many other well developed Jerry West draft picks? Would everyone be so on him if instead of 3 straight seasons of 15-17 shots per game he took 10 then 14 then 17 shots? No they wouldn't, but he'd have exactly the same potential regardless. He would have been much better right now if he had to earn his minutes with shot selection, unselfishness and defense from the start among high character vets, great HC's and elite mentors.

That was his ceiling. PG of the future, two-way player, high efficiency on low volume scoring, needs to fix his 3PT shot, skinny. All the positives about him were based on a tiny role with tiny shots. All his development was handled by masters: CP3 and Jerry West groomed this kid, he was accountable from day 1, played in the playoffs early in his career, was never for a single season in his life been allowed to take stupid shots or ignore defense, absorb infinite losses.

The point is: Jalen will be fine, he's just going to be 2 years late because you wanted Wemby - a guy who didn't want us. Luckily we got Amen and Udoka is good at developing fundamentals. We're back on track for his career now and just in time for when we may have to pay him serious dollars.

We're getting there. Still expect one more freak out from the fanbase because a skinny guy won't get to the line much with the most packed paint in the West, and so his 3PT shot will make or break his playoff performance. If he's with us next season, I expect the lessons from these playoffs to fuel as big a step up next season as he took this season.

Lakers are gonna be right behind us. They are a different team with Luka and JJ Redick has got them playing defense. I'm not sure how valuable that 2 seed really is though, it completely depends on who we will face in the 1st round.

He has to focus on going strong on recovery and improving his body for health/longevity, and continue offensive skillset/playmaking read building which will play a factor. You're not an all-star or all-defensive yet, you have to fulfill that potential. But I'm sure something fair for both sides can be worked out.

He's our second most impactful player after Sengun and has been for years, I say start developing him like a top draft pick long term. He'll win you games and playoff series, and always keep and develop guys who get you results long-term.

With Curry missing a few games on the Warriors upcoming 6-game road trip, should we be concerned they might finish at #7, matching them up with the Rockets at #2?

I would be, might be in our interest to lose some games to drop down in seeding.

It could happen. But it's also possible they fall below both the Clippers and the T'Wolves and wind up 8th.

Unless Curry suffers a serious injury, I'm certain the Warriors will win the 7 vs. 8 play-in.
