This is off topic but I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried a Lime Dr.Pepper. A friend ordered me one at Chili's restaurant tonight and it was surprisingly good. I've had cherry Dr.Pepper and vanilla Dr.Pepper but this was a really great drink.

I wanted to let everyone know that Ive decided to offer authentic chicken fried steak with homemade fries and texas toast and white cream gravy for 6.00 and it comes with a 32oz Dr.Pepper. Is that a good price?

$6 is a good deal if it is good. Make sure you have a good cream gravy recipe, as well. And also try to make them monstrous-looking; ie. pound the hell out of the steak before you fry it.

Yea, thats a good price for a meal. But it also depends where you are located and what dining areas are around you. If the prevailing rate for a meal around you is $4-5, you might have a hard time convincing people to shell out $6.00. Do some market research into your competitors, it will help you better gauge your selling points and quality of food offered at that price.

thats the thing. No one close to me offers a meal like this. Theres a convenience store that offers a frozen chicken fried steak meal for 5.50 and its not homemade.....its just heated up in a microwave LOL. The only other place that offers this is a restaurant and while the CFS there is really good; the price is 9.00.

I don't know what your business plan looks like, but you might eventually be closer to a $6.75 - $6.99 meal price with a $2.25 cost.
