I hate Harden's casualness with the ball too, and find his turnovers annoying, but as much as he has the ball they are acceptable as long as he is getting assists....the real problem is that he is not that great at setting up his teamates.

His Assist to turnover ratio for a guy that has the ball that much is really poor....he needs to be at least 2-1 for that....

It would be NICE to have someone else take control and let him have it less often - or have him focus on scoring and OCCasional assisting.

Lawson could do it, but his confidence is shot and our coaching staff doesn't have the credibility or know how to get it done.

    This year is over.

I guess i've just got immune to it....

It kills me when he has turnover and then jogs back on defense... But on offense after a miss shot he will sprint to catch up with whom ever has the ball to get it from them...

    He is who he is...

Tonight's game a perfect example of Harden's turnovers doing us in. You can't turn it over against the Spurs. But the better teams like the Spurs just have a way of watering down his efficiency enough to win the game.

Really? You think Harden turning it over 5 times cost us the game?

They turned him over and watered down his shooting efficiency and kept him off the line. They did a very good job making it difficult for him. And that's how you beat us. Water down his efficiency by attacking his dribble and dogging him on the jumper while letting him run into the bigs inside. Just an excellent defensive scheme against us. That's how you beat us.

Most of us are aware that if you defend Houston like they only have one good offensive player, it makes it hard to win.

It's probably because Houston only has one good offensive player

Because he went 2-14 and played no defense perhaps?

I honestly feel Harden did that on purpose to show Howard that we do go for you but you just cant deliver. Even tho that was a terrible pass.

    Assist

Yet people complain about 2 lazy passes .

Please , learn this thing called perspective .

Could James be better , and take care of the ball more ??
    Yes .

Is it fair to demand that from him ??
    Probably not .

James didn't lose us this game . James hasn't lost us any games he hasn't been a huge factor in us even being in the game first . No one can do it by themselves .

Could his effort be better ??
    Yes .

Could clutchfans posters be better ?
    Probably not

goes to show, Harden should never have the ball in late quarter situations. If Morey can't find a guard who can create and co-exists beside Harden, then he's failed at his job.

    This isn't true.

Harden should absolutely have the ball. He's our best player by far and an awesome creater.

If some of his passes weren't so lazy he would be even better and we would be in a much better position as a result.

The combination and eventual legacy of Dwight and Harden are an embarrassment to all prime time duo's.

Tonight it was Dwight's turn...I missed most of the game, and tuned for half way through the 4th only to see how Dwight essentially gave up on this season.

Body language speaks volumes, and after that final timeout, Dwight was basically taking his sweat a$$ time getting to the other side. Granted that he was initially wide freaking open, and that Harden through an atrocious pass he should've tapped it towards the guys wearing RED!! not to an empty spot at the perimeter.

Harden's turnovers are really pissing me off, but that play was a microcosm of our season...disjointed leaders who have led us to the 8th seed and perhaps out of the playoffs
