    "decent PF" LOL.

I love how Stromile Swift's stock has suddenly soared among Rockets fans now that they are all pissed off. I beg your pardon, but Swift is the role-playing scrub in this equation. Feel free to be pissed about Rudy Gay and his potential, but Swift is a known commodity. An underacheiver.

I may not be calling it quits, but my Fed-Up-O-Meter hasn't been this high since the day before the David Wesley trade last year.

I find myself looking forward to what moves the Rockets are going to make in the 2007 off-season.

The only way this can turn out for the better is somehow Battier becomes at 20 and 10 guy taking only 10 shots again. Gay also has to be a complete flop like none other and we win the championships for the next 5 years.

exactly. i liked the trade more when i found out swift was in it. nothing he did made the team better. swift doesn't all of a sudden have potential again. he is what he is.

i also love these guys who say van gundy would have traded lebron or wade or even yao. get real. those guys were top notch prospects in great drafts. we traded the #8 pick in what everyone considers a weak draft. not even remotely the same.

i'm cool with the trade and i'll always stick with the rockets.

Normally, when I see a disgruntled fan threaten to give up on the rox forever, I say thank god and good riddance. We don't need bandwagonners that wilt at the slightest sign of adversity. Through thick and thin, I've stuck by this team. I watch every game, download what I've missed, and have tried to turn my siblings into rockets fans as well. I follow rockets news more closely than I follow real news. Who cares if there's a war going on when the rockets are thinking about a trade?

But now I'm so tired. I'm tired of the downright silly decisions by the front office over the past ten years that have made us an eternally mediocre team. I'm sick of the lack of vision that prevents us from benefiting in any move that isn't a obvious given, like having the #1 pick overall or stealing a superstar from an inept Weisbrod.

We needed something special out of this draft. Both our stars are injured and we have no depth. All I wanted out of this draft was either Brandon Roy or Rudy Gay, even if it cost us Head. Well Rudy Gay fell right into our lap and we gave him away with Swift as a big fat ribbon. It's wasn't the loss of Brandon Roy that hurt, it was how our management failed in dealing properly with Atlanta, Portland, Minnesota, and especially Memphis that killed me. We let teams know exactly what we wanted, then let them pick us apart by foiling our plans. How exactly are we going to get any steals if our plans keep going public?

Now were less deep than before. We're playing an archaic style and wasting the talents of two superstars that could be the one of the greatest duos ever if not for some dumb GM'ing. Tracy and Yao deserve better than this. The fans deserve better than this. JVG is mortgaging our future so that we can be first round fodder for the Spurs or Suns.

For the first time in a long time, I really think the rockets have absolutely no shot at the title. It makes me feel empty inside, like I'm just idly waiting for time to pass me by. All this time I've been examining every regular season game and every play, looking for some sign of excellence, when the real test starts in the offseason. CD failed, and we might not recover in time for Tmac and Yao to have any sort of legacy. This'll be my last complaining post. Next week, I'll be chipper and ready to cheer the rockets on. I'll see Battier as a better version Bruce Bowen, while Gay and Swift are just busts riding on potentail. I get delusional that easily. But for now, I'm just so tired.

Calm down guys. True fans bend over and take it up the dookey-chute no matter what management does. Winning or making non-idiotic moves isn't necessary because a true fn wouldn't stop supporting the team no matter what!!!!

    Sarcasm....

If the team is making dumb ass decisions and you choose not to continue to reward them for it with your money, I don't think that means you're not a "true fan". I think it shows that you have some sense.

How many times do you guys let your wives get screwed by the neighborhood and their dogs before you throw her skank ass out on the street? I can sympathize with his feelings.

If we were the ones doing the screwing, this might be easier to take but we only know how to take it up the backside.

I'm sticking with my favorite team in a 20 win season or a 60 win season. We are winning 50 games next year, mark my words. Then everyone can hop back on the band wagon. I know I don't post much, but I check and read this site every day. Thanks to those of you posters and fans who are like me (I mean in sticking with the team, not how I feel about the trade) and are actuall fans. Shame on those of you who only exist after a good run.

Step back. Breath easy. It sounds like you like this trade. There is a thread started for both people who liked this trade and don't think we gave up too much. The three of you can have smores and sing cumbuya all night long.

I just joined this board, but a long time Rox fan. I don't blame anyone saying they wanted to quit (they will be back when JVG, CD and Money ball is gone and when Rox is sold to Magic :) ).

If anyone don't like comments like this, please, please aim your gun at the SOURCE (JVG, CD and Money ball, Les).

    Peace

Wow, more people on the side of the tread starter than I would have thought. While I'll always be a Rocket fan, I certainly can't blame people for giving up on this franchise, if for nothing else, because of the front office. I won't blindly say good riddance or don't let the door hit you on the way out, because I feel your pain.

We all should be feeling like we just got a promise for some pu$$y, and then a swift kick in the nuts right after. Hopefully something better comes along later this summer for us from management.

Win or lose, just stay the course.

The Rockets won't have a problem with seats if they win. The customers can fill the rest.

    Who are the fans?
