Well, at least truer than those who are saying they'll no longer be fans. Of course fans are "truer" than non-fans. Duh.

I know how you feel. I feel like the Rockets are playing me for a sucker. However, simple inertia will keep me here.

Yeah yeah and you're not gonna watch the team anymore if we don't draft Vince. We've all heard this before.

Good Ridance to anyone who says they wont be fans anymore. A True Fan Never leaves his team.

"Either you are with us or against us"

    Go jump on another bandwagon.

Sorry, but I believe that is complete bs. IMO, sports is a 2 way street, similar to relationships. Am I wrong to not continue to root for you and most importantly, give you my money, when you keep putting a pissy product out on the floor? If you are in the lottery for 20 seasons in a row, do I suck because I say to hell with the owner and the team? A true fan doesn't just go for someone just because they live in that city, if they keep messing up. If I stayed in LA I would not be a fan of the Clips and Sterling. No one is saying the team has to always win, just that you only get a by-pass on making idiotic decisions for so long. Like the chick said on the movie Baby Boy...."Damn, how much can a b*$ch take".....

I will always be a devoted Rockets fan but this could possibly be the lowest moment I can remember as a fan.

The 28-win season and last season were pretty bad, but I blame injuries for those. The 3 1st Round Picks for Eddie was pretty bad as well. But trading a potential star player and a decent PF to a division rival for a role player tops the cake for me.

I find it really hard to see myself buying Rockets tickets this season, management hasn't given me a reason to.

I always learn to just go with what we have. In this case, this could be one of the most idiotic trades in history, but it's made. So, we now have Battier, who probably is coming to the Rockets to give T-Mac defensive relief. Sure, we all think that Gay would be perfect taking minutes from T-Mac, but I believe T-Mac doesn't just need rest, he needs someone to take the worser of the 2 defensive wing assignments and Battier is just that. Sure, I couldn't believe my eyes and were practically shouting out expletives when I heard about this on the radio, and I believe we could've gotten MUCH more than JUST battier... but this is what we have and I'm a rockets fan.

Not even 1 game has been played yet.... In this case... don't let the door hit you on the way out. One thing about this move... we're starting to see who the die-hard, Rocket-Red-Bleeding, Houston-for-life fans are.

i'd like to petition for all the the people who have "claimed" to no longer be a fan, be permanantly banned from Clutchfans, or at least from GARM.

Funny scene at Toyota Center last night. Everyone is booing the trade and walking out of the arena and some nimrod with a japanese style ponytail gets on the mike and talks about buying season tickets. Tells fans where to go to get in on this "great opportunity".....What a poor sense of timing that guy had....
