Did you play it on Veteran Difficulty? That took a while to beat. I would probably be happy playing through single player time and again. Multiplayer...meh...still like Halo better. But thing I did notice was how slow Halo is compared Mordern Warfare. Jeez.
So far, the game plays EXACTLY like COD 4 but with a WWII feel. Even the menus and matchmaking system are exactly the same. The graphics are better, they added a bit more detail in everything seen on the map, especially on this one map called Makin, which is like a beach type setting. The vehicles add more depth to the game plus now when you get a 7 kill streak, a pack of dogs will come and sniff you out. You can kill them, but it is kinda tough since most of the time, there are 3-4 dogs attacking at once. So in my opinion, the game is slightly better than COD 4. Like I said earlier, the tanks and vehicles add a lot to the game plus I find it a bit more tactical than COD 4 since the game is a bit more slowed down and the maps are more open. In other words, I'm in the beta.

I am playing the beta also and i have to say i am very impressed! The online play is the same, more perks, more conveniencey for partys. It kept all of the online play just added to it here and there. Overall it is just as good as cod4
I just have a question. To be able to play the beta version, do you have to pre-order the game? If so, I need to do that.
Wow, I get you access to the beta and no shoutout....I'm disappointed, lol. But yeah, the Beta is pretty good. Its the same engine as COD4 but a whole different game all together. You can only rank up to a 11, which unlocks some guns and perks but not nearly half. On the new game you can rank up to a 65, then prestige. The beta has 5 game modes, and you can have parties up to 6 players. No bad, one of the best demos since Halo 3 beta.
cod5 is so stupid, the game looks like crap, and the weapons suck. i know its just the beta but unless they change the whole game i wont pick it up. every body else that has not played it yet i would not buy it before you play the beta or your friends game, because it is nothing like cod 4.
Makers of COD4 need to come up with some massive expansion you pay to download. Totally destroy COD5's thunder. I assume the license situation doesn't let them? Who knows.
The developers are different, but the publishers are the same. I don't think Activision would fund development on something that might negatively impact the release of another one of their games.
