so lately I been playing alot of Headquarters.....most the time Im +15-20 k/d I use my guns only...either M16 or TAR21...no launchers but Im noticing that alot of players now ...just use the Rocket Launcher and Thumpers....which drives me nuts.... Im really thinking about starting to play Hardcore Headquarters
I exclusively play hardcore but...... you should know that launchers and such are far more prevalent in hardcore because they kill anyone even remotely close to them.
That stupid care package glitch is getting out of control. Last night I played for a couple hours almost and there was a chopper gunner in every game. It was nonstop care packages.
<br> You're right. It is nuts now. It wasn't so bad a week or so ago, but today was ridiculous. There were three people on the opposite team doing it at a time. I had to combat it by doing the emergency drop glitch They need to fix that crap. And fast.
whats the glitch? i just thought people used the -1 kill streak...that is what i use....i have care package sentry gun and emer. drop as my kill streaks....and i usually get 2-3 emer. drops a game....that is why i love headquarters
The care package glitch has pretty much ruined the game for me lately. They need a perma-fix. It's just gotten way outta hand. I still play every night, and our team usually wins because the other team is so focused on getting care packages/emergency airdrops, but it's so annoying being on an outside HQ (cold-blooded becomes irrelevant at that point) and being spammed with airstrike after airstrike because of the f--king glitch. It's ridiculous how many people use it, and the funny thing is, they're not even that good when they do use it. I'm a f--king girl, and I can usually outperform them. Pretty sad when the prestige icon means absolutely nothing now because so many people have cheated their way to the top. Oh well.
Also, if you are thinking about playing HC HQ (which is what I play 99% of the time), the launchers might even be more prevalent (I don't play the regular modes... I don't feel like unloading a whole clip into someone and not having him/her die). I use the launchers quite a bit myself, especially when defending/capping HQs (and have them used on me a lot in return). The only complaint I have with hardcore HQ is that four of the maps are missing from the playlist (Skidrow, Terminal, Highrise & Invasion). I've tweeted fourzerotwo multiple times asking for them, but to no avail... lol. Idunno if these maps are missing from the regular HQ mode, but when maps range from Rust to Derail/Wasteland, I don't understand why these maps would be missing from the playlist.
I think they finally fixed the care package glitch there was an update for the game while I was playing and I have not seen 20 care packages go off.
Yeah, I got the update this morning. Haven't played yet, but hopefully they fixed it for good this time.
Yep but I am sure one glitch fixed there is still five more now that people will find and post on youtube.
If this is the same patch as the one they released for the PS3, then I think someone actually already found a workaround for the care package fix. I hope that's not the case, but if it is... Ugh. But you're right. It's only a matter of time. God forbid people just play the game.
Yes, there is a new way to do it. This is by far the most annoying glitch yet. I have now watched it on YouTube and am going to do it myself.

ug the only thing i hate more than the care package idiots are nuke boosters. The most satisfying thing to me is finding these idiots and taking them out before they get a nuke
So it seems like when i play everyone has prestiged already so im probably late to the party, but i actually just had the opportunity and did it. I feel like it might be dumb, but i just cant get enough of this game so i figured why not. Have you guys prestiged?
