    preorder from amazon and you get a 20$ credit off your next game (or possibly any purchase). You won't be getting it at midnight but they do have a delivery option for you to get it that day.

    This game is so sick but in a good way. Just beat single player mode and once the game is released I'd like to hear what you all think about "No Russian"

    I wish I could understand the nerd talk in that video to know why people would care enough to boycott it. I just want to play the game and get on with my life...

    Don't understand "$60"? Doesn't really take a nerd to understand why a $10 increase from the normal PC game pricing is worth boycotting. Some of those things, while important, affect the hardcore PC gamers specifically I'll admit. But the pricing thing is probably the thing that always bothered me the most. Not that $10 is a lot (especially when it is the same MSRP as console games), but this just reeks of arrogance IMO (MW2 is clearly better than all other games, so you should gladly pay more for it).

    I'm sure Activision was pondering a $70 release for consoles, but perhaps that would take things a bit too far...for right now anyway.

    A couple of questions:

    For consoles, is the game retailing at the normal $59.99?

    Do you guys think there will be a problem finding this game tonight at one of my local Walmarts or video stores?

    Just checked Walmart's website and they have this same deal. I wonder if they'll do that in store as well.

    Yeah a lot of places are offering some variety of a $20 credit.. But for me just saving 4.95 in taxes is worth it :).. Also I will be working that day so getting it that midnight wouldn't do nothing for me. Amazing Prime here so I should receive it tomorrow.

    Yeah, I am seriously debating whether or not to order it online and wait to save $5 and get an extra $20 back or getting it at midnight tonight. Decisions, decisions....

    If the walmart 20 gift card is similar to their past promotions, it will be an online gift card. Meaning you can only purchase things off their website with it. There's probably work arounds if you buy prepaid debit cards or something, but by then you're not getting the full 20$

    Haha oh... I don't play PC so I guess the $60 didn't alarm me as much as it would others. I guess if there was a $10 increase all across the board, I'd be a little pissed. I get that now.

    Are you one of these FPS snobs that has to play it on mouse/keyboard?

    Depending on how much people will play this game, an extra $10 is fine.
    Those dudes are just trying to get paid for their hard work.

    we're still in capitalistic society.

    They might sell these games cheaper in the communists countries.

    IW dropped the ball for the PC version, any competitive pc gamer would know.. i'm waiting for Battlefield Bad Company 2.. COD's gameplay is nothing like Battlefield's.. i would know, ive played both franchises since the beginning.. MW is fun (All infy) but nothing compared to competitive matches in Battlefield due to the fact how how much bigger the maps r and the vehicles..oh, and Squads ;)

    Lol, yeah...about that; battlefield is/was/always will be garbage. If you're interested in being ran over by vehicles repeatedly it's fantastic. Additionally your usage of the word "competitive" leads me to believe you really have no clue what you're talking about. Battlefield and "competition" are like oil and water, sir.
