I finally have a combo that I work with very well...I'd say out of the last 50 deathmatches, my K/D ratio is about a 1.75. Not great, but definitely an improvement over the 4 kills, 10 deaths I was achieving early on. Primary Weapon: Tar-21 Attachments: Heartbeat sensor and FMJ Perk 1: Bling Perk 2: Cold blooded Perk 3: Ninja Kill Streak: Predator missile (5) Harrier (7) Pave Down (9) With cold blooded and ninja, the other team cannot figure out my location at all, unless they see me with their own eyes. And its great to not have to worry about enemy choppers/aircrafts or sentry guns. I can run around outside without any concern. Since I have cold blooded instead of stopping power, I tried to combat that by adding the FMJ attachment. I had the same setup with the Scar, but the fire rate on that gun sucks a donkey. I also have the same set up with the M16, but the 3 rounds of fire throws me off...I like to just hold the trigger and fire away. Im thinking of starting to pimp out the ACR...that gun has some amazing accuracy. But, the thought of playing without the heartbeat sensor makes me hesitate. With the kill streaks, if I can get to 5, the match is usually over with a victory. I get to 5...I can get at least 1 kill, if not 2 with the predator. Then, that automatically sets me up with the harrier...2 kills with that is easy...which gives me the pave down. After the harrier does its thing, I unleash the next kill streak, which give me another 3-5 kills, easy.
How do you do this? I had a class with Scavenger and went up to a few dead enemies and was unable to get anything.
they need to have the scavenger perk also... once they die, they let go of a blue bag/pouch and you grab it
Oh, no wonder. What is that blue dot that flashes in the screen sometimes, anybody know? It's got like an eagle in it.
its there to notify you that you have replenished your ammo and equipment by picking up from your ememy... What I do is, place a clamore, then pick up the blue bag, place another clamore and them pick up another bag....
no, not from the same one, usually there is a lot of people using that perk so there plenty of them around
I haven't played this game yet, too busy. About to jump in tonight. Any tips for a beginner? I played the first Modern Warfare of course... is there like a quick-start guide anywhere? I am not much for campaign... like to jump into multiplayer until I get a hang of it.
Because i am trying to level up quickly i dont usually stick to one gun, i have a different gun for each class, i.e. and assult rifle class, and LMG class etc. but then i also have a go to class for when i am playing people really good and trying to get a good kill count or just feel like doing some damage. Needless to say not playing with my go to class really affects my K/D ratio, and it is frustrating but unlocking new achievements on new guns even if i will never use them increases my xp. Do you guys think im thinking too much and should just use what works? I really want to get the M16 havnt unlocked it yet.
Go with whatever gun works best for you. I made that mistake on WAW. I would try to complete nearly every objective for a weapon before switching except for headshots. It took me forever to jump up doing that. Sure you get a lot of points when completing them but sometimes it takes to long to do so and it's just not worth it.
You don't get infinite claymores. If you put a third one down, one of your other ones blows up. You can only have two claymores set at any one time. I love Ninja Pro- it silences your footsteps so no one can hear you running in the grass around the corner, on a house, on metal, etc. You don't have to crouch to be silent when you have it. I use sleight of hand pro also. Not only do you reload fast, but you get your gun up and aiming faster too, useful when coming around a corner and unexpectedly coming up on someone
Well now I know I don't need to switch from One Man Army. I knew with One Man Army you could only have two setup at a time.
Just got this game. When I'm in multiplayer mode at home with 3 buddies, how come we can only choose from like 5 guns (grenadier, sniper, etc)? How do I enable the full list?
You have to unlock weapons and classes in order to select different ones and until you level up you will be stuck with the default classes.
Ok, thanks. And I'm guessing I have to unlock weapons and classes by playing in single player mode and moving up levels?
