Personal best session so far was 34 kills 8 assists 6 deaths. I managed to get an 11 kill streak and got to man the chopper turret It was on the map Wetlands(?) the one which is basically entirely outside - so i had a field day. I prefer the maps on the original MW and certain aspects of the game play. No grenades AND claymores? And only ONE claymore at that?... that really annoys me. There were few things more enjoyable than hearing your claymore detonate and seeing you killed someone - and moments later they try to gain entry to where you are another way only to be taken by your second claymore. Agreed upon that light machine guns can have silences - that ***** is ridiculous. I can't imagine how angry some people will be with the Bling perk - allowing 2 attachments. Noob tubes ran rampant in some maps in the original and all that could be heard were other members of the team screaming in frustration.
Just beat the campaign on hard last night. Overall, excellent game, graphics really are amazing. Might've been a little easier than COD4, i remember getting stuck on that ferris wheel part as compared to this there was no one part that gave me a lot of trouble....I think the hardest level was trying to constantly go uphill in Rio with RPGs shooting you at every turn....
That would be Wasteland. I agree that I don't like having one or the other. Once you get the One Man Army perk it sort of makes up for it as you can switch classes and have two active claymores and then switch to another class and have a grenade. Of course you can also have a gun with a grenade launcher attached. There were few things more enjoyable than hearing your claymore detonate and seeing you killed someone - and moments later they try to gain entry to where you are another way only to be taken by your second claymore. I'm not sure what you guys are complaining about here.
just got a ps3 last week and came with this game, any tips for a complete rookie, novice dying machine???
If you are truly crapolla at this game I would recommend playing some free for all, for the simple reason that your aim will improve much quicker since you have a lot more people to shoot at. You only get 50 points per kill in free for all for a reason, you will see a lot more action. The problem with team deathmatch for me at the start was that I hardly encountered the opposition, so my shooting skills weren't improving. My K/D ratio was sitting at around 0.75 with very few kills per round. Then I played some free for all and I ended up at 1.3, which if you take into account my negative ratio at the start it was a huge improvement. And free for all means you'll run around the map a lot more so you'll become familiar with them quicker. Not that I'm a pro, but some basic tips Use the SCAR assault rifle exclusively, it's awesome and you can get it really early As soon as the red dot attachment becomes available on the SCAR, attach it As for perks, stopping power is crucial. When you move around, try to keep either your back or one of your sides hugging a wall. ALWAYS sprint across open areas. And on that note, do not sprint into firefights because it takes a second for you to aim your weapon after sprinting. And that second means you will die Try to get familiar with the radar ASAP. It's difficult at first because there's so much to learn and looking at it always feels dangerous as you are momentarily exposed and distracted, but the sooner you can read it effectively the better off you'll be.
I started using the SCAR but the fire rate is not very good. I switched to the TAR but it's accuracy was not good. I'm now on the M16 but it only has a three round burst but luckily those three rounds are enough most of the time.
Does stopping power work with silenced weapons? It didn't seem to do so when I used it and that's why I stopped. AA-12 is a bit awesome but I gave up secondary for One Man Army.
It does for me. I've been far more successful since I began using stopping power and attach the silencer on all my weapons. Haven't used the one man army perk, because it seems to take a while to change classes. I would hate to be killed in the middle of a streak because i was changing classes. I use the scavenger perk to avoid running out of ammo
Once you get One Man Army Pro it takes about 5 seconds. I use it to replenish claymores. What's your setup like for your main weapon? Mine is currently this: M16A4 with red dot attachment Perk 1: One Man Army Pro Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro Perk 3: Commando Pro I'm thinking about changing Perk 3 to Ninja because those heartbeat monitors keep doing me in and keep me from getting my Tactical Nuclear.
Those heartbeat sensors get me all the time as well, and when i use them i get killed looking at them (makes me not pay as much attention to my enviroment and slows my reaction), im a red dot sight or Holographic sight guy.
To get FMJ you have to get the grenade launcher challenger first and I only have it on two guns and so far it has not been really effective. I'd say Stopping Power.
Tar 21 with the silencer Scavenger pro Stopping Power pro Ninja pro I love the scavenger perk because it replenishes my claymores, ammo, and flash bang... I can set up an infinite amount of clamores
I use it together when I play search and destroy, other than that I use only stopping power, and I really dont notice the difference
