Call of Duty 2014: Advanced Warfare?

I've been playing this one on my PS2 in progressive scan mode -- pretty badass so far.

 

I somehow got it to work on my Atari. Don't ask me how since it takes cartridges. I just did.

Played a few rounds of TDM to get my kd up...domination was killing me bc I like going for flags, but that also means getting slaughtered out of nowhere.

I think TDM slows the game down a bit, which I like...gives me a little more control of what's going on. Although, game type is kind of boring compared to objective games.

 

So all over Reddit people are complaining about lag compensation. I used to always experience it the last few titles and would have to throttle port 3074 down to about 512kbps to get around it.

However, with this title, I can run my normal setup without any QOS rules and I seem to be killing it out there. No lag comp whatsoever. Weird thing is that a ton of people are complaining about it

 

I think it's the new tvs. I had this problem when I bought 4 new tvs. My old model had no lag.

 

Which system you on?

 

Nothing sounds better than hearing guys talk s*** to each other and bragging about their KD.

 

What is up with the aiming, it is so slow to move the barrel of my gun left to right?

 

Got the game yesterday. Did perfectly well the first two matches (2.5 KD) then it went spiraling down from there. The whole "Titanfall meets Modern Warfare" concept is pretty fun, I enjoy it so far. Just gotta get used to the maps.

Any load-outs people use that is particularly good? I am a run and gun kind of guy so I used the second SMG a lot (can't remember the name MP11?)

 

They are sniping more than ever.

 

Whats funny is that they said there will be no quick scoping in the game but as you see people are still doing it.

 

Never trust any game developer when they say there won't be quickscoping, or bunnyhopping, or whatever. People always figure out how to exploit these games in ways developers wouldn't have thought of. Happens every...single...time.

Guess I've been lucky because I havent experienced many snipers at all.

I actually dont mind when people snipe...I feel like I have an advantage, so people can snipe all they want. And if they are good at it, then more power to them because I know I would have a much harder time sniping than using an actual fully automatic weapon.

I played the others in the series a lot but havent turned on my PS3 in months. Picked it up today out of curiosity, enjoying it.

 

Haven't had more fun playing a game since MW2, Black Ops was really fun too. Hated MW3 but kept coming back to it and then raging after the lag kicked in every match and haven't bought a COD since wondering if I should come back or not.

Comments are telling me not to. I miss u MW2

 

Dont do it. AW is doodoo. Its like they ripped every other FPS and used their concepts in less effective ways. Sigh...

I too, feel your sentiment for mw2.

 

you need to adjust the sensitivity .

 

Maybe I've been living under a rock, but hasn't this been the same game since 2007?

 

I've already played Titanfall. So AW is a turnoff for me.
