dude pull up his post. he said 4 for 1 AND 2 for 1. and you have the choice to use the amnesty clause once before the current CBA is up.

And I'm 99.9% sure you're wrong on the amnesty clause.

r****ded but Bold, I can see CD living by that Motto. It would be great to land Finley, but I think the Rockets are taking a wait and see approach.

Of course the Mavs would. However, the Rockets would NOT trade for Finley and the 50M left on his contract.

btw, the amnesty thing is a one time thing as stated in the ESPN Amnesty's FAQ

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=2112912&num=0

EDIT: Dang it, beat me to it.

There is a thread on RealGM stating 790AM is reporting that Finley was "visiting" Houston today?!?!?!?
    Can anyone confirm???

The difference is Stoudamire lives here. Finley doesn't live here and if he really is in town.......well, that has to be saying something. After all, he could be visiting Miami tonight, since he had to have known he was probably going to get cut. Wonder if he is sleeping over at TMac's.

What's your point. Swift visited too. Losing Stoudamire doesn't have anything to do with our dealings with other free agents.

And the real difference between Finley and Stoudamire is that Damon was trying to get a sign and trade to Houston. If that didn't work then he'd field best offer available. Because Finley has been waived and renounced, a sign and trade isn't a possiblity. Finley and his agent KNOW that the Rox only have the LLE to offer. If he's in town and talking to CD, then it means that we are at least "in the running". Granted it's still probably a longshot, but it's a chance none-the-less.

During 06- 07 campaigne, Yao's contract is gonna keep us over for a long time and wouldn't trade for Finley... If he did, CD would be sitting at his shrink trying to explain why he's hearing colors and seeing sounds!
