No stories, but the girls there are extremely hot, plenty of dimes. Too bad they are all prostitutes, but thats probably a plus for a lot of people.
stories? yeah a few !! not sure if you want to go there? The devil comes in many shapes, and I realized that one night while sitting at adelitas. sounds like OP is going to LA. If you are going to LA then yes go to Hollywood and check out the walk of stars/chinese theater. plenty of freaks dressed up there. I would say to definitely rent a car and scope venice redondo manhattan santa monica beaches. You could look for the place where jack tripper fell over in the opening scenes of 3s company. That's the fun of LA ,the movie stuff makes it funny. Universal studios and burbank have their things. Universal studios is pricey as is disney land. I would say universal if you want that movie lot , LA cheesy experience. Sunset strip , and perhaps a day trip to Laguna Beach. beverly hills is okay to drive around and scope. My wife likes the melrose area lots of shopping.Westhollywood is intriguing sort of the montrose of LA.Clubs are going to be tough as there are the ones that lindsay lohan goes to ,and then the ones you can get into. you can go to where ashton and kanye hang but you will need to start grazing the backpages of tmz and gawker to find out the clubs names. Then put on some crazy clothes get there by 9PM at the latest when they open.. and oh yeah be prepared to throw down to get into the club even if you are early. Pay the extra to get to the VIP VIP VIP room(aka level 3) You can drive down bundy in brentwood and see where OJ murdered 2 people. If you are looking for cheaper and getting laid by locals, then try out the circle bar in santa monica. That whole area by circle bar (main street) in Santa monica has some interesting bars more local bars. Not as much of the pretentious lines. But in LA in general ,be prepared to see lots of jewish guys that are raging posers. be prepared to laugh at the buffoonery that is LA. sounds like OP will not be going outside of LA except to Las Vegas?
If you the three days in Vegas are during the week, you can get a huge discount on a nice hotel. If you want bars and nightlife then Hollywood/W. Hollywood are good places to hang out. Off of Hollywood BLVD. is a place that gets pretty happening at night, but isn't a velvet rope kind of place. It's on Cahuenga and called the Velvet Margarita. They have food too, and it's not really a club, but is near several clubs. You could get food and drinks there. There is a great place for moderately priced food on Hollywood Blvd. nearby called Loteria Grill. I think they have the best margaritas in town. If you are in that area you are walking distance to a ton of clubs and bars that you can browse and find ones that suit you. Also head down to West Hollywood. It's going to be extremely crowded especially on a weekend. Try to not drive down Sunset along the strip on a weekend night. You will be inching your way along. But there are a lot of clubs there. There's also a couple of nice breakfast places. The best one is called The Griddle. Get there very early. The place is going to be jam packed. You could also go to Duke's which is just classic diner style food. It's right across from the Whiskey(which is a very famous club in case you didn't know.) Melrose around the Fairfax district has great vintage store hip shopping. 8 Oz. Burger bar is on Melrose, and has excellent Burgers. I mean really excellent burgers. They have a good happy hour too. Also near there is the Farmer's Market and Grove which are pretty cool. As far as people watching, definitely check out Venice Beach and along the beach. It's great. You can see some awesome pick up basketball near the muscle beach workout area too. If you want to go to the beach and want girls, try Zuma beach. It can be crowded and the girls may be a little young. Manhattan Beach is a nice wide beach with great sand. There aren't that many girls that go just for the beach but there are beach volley ball nets there where serious female beach volley players go to train. They are amazing to look at. I'm just warning you that the water will be cold. Also the morning will probably have a marine layer or June Gloom that should burn off as the day goes on. If you're up for a drive go to Huntington Beach. You could also check out the original Muscle Beach which isn't in Venice beach but next door in Santa Monica. There are cool rings you can swing on, and sometimes people have tight ropes set up to try and walk across. If you are looking for a little music or video shopping try Amoeba records. It's huge and they have a wide selection of stuff. Both Amoeba and the grove are good places to spot celebrities as well. If you want music check who's playing at the Wiltern, Spaceland, and for something different and Indy try Mr. T's bowl. Comedy in Hollywood check out UCB theatre. Their Saturday Night show ASSSSCAT will have one more celebrities that could be anywhere from a D list to an occasional A list. There may also be celebs in the audience. But regardless of that, the shows will be hilarious and will only cost you $8. Make sure to reserve ahead of time and line up at least 25 minutes ahead of time. Next door is Bird's which is a bar/restaurant that can be kind of crowded, but is pretty cool. Or try IO west. They have their own bar, are on Hollywood Blvd. and will be near some of the clubs in the area. The shows there will probably be funny as well. There are also really cool bars downtown like the Edison, or The Brewery which is a whole art scene with restaurants, and stuff near by.
Northern part of the State is the prettiest. Try San Francisco (stay in Mill Valley), Lake Tahoe, Carmel, Yosemite, Redwood forest, Big Sur, and so on. Beautiful, wonderful. Hwy One. The rest of California, view on line.
