California Says Public Companies Have To Have Women On Board of Directors

    If it's what you say, California public companies won't have to try hard to comply with the law.

    Indeed, maybe they won't have to make an extra effort; but that does not mean that the law is a good thing.

    So if there are qualified women and it would be easy to find them, why don't they?

    Maybe nepotism, being in the right frat and the "good ol boys network" interfers with hiring competent women in these positions?
