I can't believe Holder is pulling this crap after promising not to raid dispensaries that cooperated with the laws.

now that they are trying to define the laws with the Decriminalization Bill as well as Prop 19, they pull a complete 180.

my question is this: how will the local governments regulate, control, and tax cannabis as defined in Prop 19?

I'm concerned there will still be raids, as well as robberies and murders, as long as there are large amounts of crops and cash flowing between the growers and the caregivers (dispensaries).

Strange that Obama wouldn't muzzle this until at least after the elections. The state voted the state made a choice and it was signed into state law. I mean only a big government socialist administration would interfere with a state decision like this... right?

This becomes another in an increasing list of occasions where a state law is inconsistent with Federal law. Under the Constitution, federal law rules the day.

I personally believe that issues such as these are best left to the states.
