California city bans smoking in duplexes and other multi-family homes

    I don't smoke (cigarettes at least, lol) but what do you guys think about this law that was passed in California? Seems a little intrusive to me. If you own a house.. it's ok though. really? Is this even enforceable?

    Well if it a duplex or multi-family home it is really no more your home than if you owned a condo/apartment. Those facilities have the right to ban you from smoking.

    I don't know. Interesting law. I see the logic in it but I also get the "my home is my home" logic too.

    even when I smoked I thought smoking inside was just wrong.

    maybe it's another way to bust pot smokers eventually.

    I'm not a smoker, and I don't like it. Smoke-free building should be up to the owners, IMO.
