    Freedom unless it is a woman or a girl who gets impregnated by their rapists. What freedom do they have in Texas?

    The world's 5th largest economy gives you a wave ... it does count as a wave if they only use one finger, right?

    most probably funded by some Texas-based lobbying groups.

    for the most part, Calif folks don't give a bleep about people moving out of state, w the innuendo that
    "if you can't take the heat, socially/politically/economically, stay out of the Golden state"

    which one is superior?

    even w the exodus, which had started in the 1980s, the GDP of Calif is ~ 70% bigger.
    5 Calif universities ranked in the top 20 colleges in the US; none for Texas
    Calif Unis have produced >200 nobel prize winners; 111 for UC Berkley,
    ~ 20 each for USC, UCLA, Stanford and Cal Tech. Texas' best is UT, which has produced 3

    btw, in your post, "they" refers to Texas-based lobbying groups, no?

    Do you remotely think that this is funny? Obviously the OP does not think so. I suspect that all of the posters who empathize/sympathize also do not.

    Or are you on a campaign to become the most ignored poster here?

    @King1
    @J.R.
    @Reeko

    Let's just say the 512 knows the 512

    anything that happens to joggers in austin is on the news, plus drive bys in travis heights = drive by in west u

    not happening

    drive by targeting a jogger

    you jog on town lake or any of the hoods in central austin?
    you get bitten by a dog on the trail , you make the news

    I’m sure the person that did this was a Texan
    You know us 99ers are smart
    He’s trying to help Texas home buyers get a chance to compete for homes cause the Cali folk are paying cash for 100% of it . They are selling their 1.5 million dollar 800 square foot home with one toilet and buying a big ass house in Pearland

    2. Don’t mess with Texas is a Texas thing , nobody knows about it except natives , very obvious

    3. This isn’t stopping the exodus at all .
    Tennessee, Colorado, Nevada , Florida
    Even Mexico
    Gringos from Cali there too

    I love how the Cali defenders point out the GDP, that’s great I guess when you live in California they take half your income…you make $150k you are automatically down to $76k , you can’t afford squat much less a apartment in the seedy area …meanwhile that same person earning $150k in Tennessee can buy nice houses like the following with literally no crime and no nonsense
    https://www.seetnhomes.com/search/results/1ze/?city=Nolensville&zip=all&subdivision=all&type=res&list_price_min=150000&list_price_max=all&area_min=all&beds_min=all&baths_min=all&lot_size_min=all&year_built_min=all&pool_description=all&garage_capacity=all&construction_type=all&short_sale=all&foreclosure=all&hud=all&elementary_school=all&elementary_school_two=all&junior_high_school=all&high_school=all&keyword=nolensville tn homes for sale&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-dGRoY7o-QIVtRXUAR2pzw58EAAYASABEgJrhfD_BwE

    This is a suburb near Nashville (close to where I reside)
    So many cars with California plates moving in they know what’s up and they know why they need to leave

    These data points have been available for a while, I just hope they get more circulation, and traction.

    I’m not sure what you know I know, but I’ve been to Nashville, Knoxville, Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon forge. So I’ve been around Tennessee a bit for work, for hiking, for college visit for one of my kids. The Smokey mountains are pretty and easily the best thing Tennessee has to offer.

    Nashville is fine, if you don’t mind the lack of food and culture options (that’s my semi polite way of saying it is super white, and you basically get to eat BBQ, burgers, and be entertained by country music). College station is a decent comparison in terms of the same deficiencies, but I think Nashville is better. Vanderbilt is a beautiful college, I think significantly superior to Texas A and M, but Vandy reflects the deficiencies of Nashville. Nashville isn’t a pit, but I sure wouldn’t want to live there. I’m sure the people who live there enjoy the town and don’t mind not having access to the array of food and culture choices available in Houston.

    As for the rest of TN that I saw, generally speaking, it felt like being at a Walmart in Montgomery county or a bait shop in the sticks. Homogenous, not particularly high education or income, rural and middle America. Again, at least the Smokey mountains are pretty.

    Tennessee makes you appreciate Houston.
