with all of the cynicism on the internet, it's really great to see this story get the proper attention it deserves. this kid is wildly creative and this is just a great example of groupthink turning positive.
I love this story and the kid's ingenuity. It reminds me of building things on the carport with cardboard boxes as a boy, like robots and Ghostbuster backpacks--only writ much larger. I donated after seeing the video and am incredibly heartened that thanks to the Internet, a young boy with this type of creative spark will be getting a chance to do some great things with his life.
Thats awesome...the fun pass is an incredible deal. Im happy for him...he deserves all the attention and praise he is getting.
I usually ignore all these so-called feel-good stories that get passed all over Facebook, but MAN....am I glad I watched this one. What a neat little kid. I shall watch his career with great interest.
The square root trick on the calculator to determine a real fun pass was brilliant for a kid his age.
Super awesome movie! I got a bit emotional. Is there any way to know the dad/family isn't going to blow the money people are donating?
Genius kid makes his own arcade, touching..GREAT story http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh9O3Nwf38Tjsml4KB What an amazing kid, wish him the best.
Haha. Love the security code calculator where you have to "push the checkmark button" (square root). This is an awesome kid. The guy that did the documentary, Nirvan Mullick, is also pretty awesome for helping organize the flash mob and doing that documentary. Cool story. http://cainesarcade.com/ http://www.facebook.com/cainesarcade Seems like he's made a ton of money for his college fund, which is awesome.
