The Suns took the local guy over Luka.

i am at a crossroads on this one had you have Cade who is a natural triple threat the other Suggs which one would be a more natural fit

Why are people talking about fit for a team that’s at the bottom of the league and has little talent? Cade has way more potential than Suggs, it’s not even close.

I think that’s easier said in hindsight.

At the time, Luka was considered a risk. It wasn’t known whether or not his game would translate from Europe to the NBA. Especially when he was severely lacking quickness and athleticism.

Phoenix gets slack because they couldn’t take that chance. Ayton was the safest pick and the local guy. SAC on the other hand.....

unless you're 1 piece away from a chip, you always get the best player available

Suggs is what, 6’4 with a 6’5 wingspan? Meanwhile Cade is 6’8 with a 7 ft wingspan that can play 1-4 in the NBA. How is Suggs even the better fit? Not to mention he has way less potential. How are u gonna pass on Wagyu beef for a PB&J sandwich?

I'm saying the only time a team may even consider picking suggs is if its a contender and missing a PG

Seems like it's Cade's spot to lose so far.....

Mobley.... is interesting but those super tall and skinny guys have a tough time translating that to the NBA.

If by some miraculous chance of fate happens and we land the #1 pick then it’s gotta be Cade.

He’s got an unreal build and is already showing a lot of poise and maturity in freshman season.

He’s good at pretty much every level offensively with room to improve and has all the tools to be a good defender at the next level.

Mobley and Kuminga are more projects and have good potential, but would not be my first choice.

Suggs is a good player, but I think his ceiling is lower than all the rest.

Green would be a nice consolation to Cade.

I'm 100% expecting OKC to get this pick. So honestly I haven't even looked that much into either of these guys to know lol. After the lottery I'll get more invested and going back and into these discussions but right now...yeah, I feel like this thread will feel sour if we don't get the pick.

Anybody 6'7" or over has my vote. We need variety up in here. If he can shoot that would be good also.

If we end up with a top 4 pick I would consider trading Wood and some other picks to get two of the above.

    How good is Barnes?

I really like Kai Jones too. He reminds me of a young Horry.

If I dont get a top 4 pick I would trade up to get him. He's a special athlete.

Wood is our best pllater and still young. And in a cheap contract(relatively) . I wouldn’t do it. He still
    Has room for improvement.
