Cade’s ability to get to the rim and finish has been improving at a rapid rate

I just can't get over how versatile and deep his offensive bag already is, and how even he plays for a rookie. He's already composed like a 10 year vet and doesn't let anyone speed him up.

I'm finally warming up to Jalen, who I was down on going into the draft...but god dammit I wish this dude was a Rocket.

I think his game will age better than Jalen’s

If we won the lottery and got the #1 pick, I am sure we would have picked Cade over Green.

He does a lot better when he gets a pick which is why they set so many for him. He has become deadly though once he gets it and can get downhill. Once he gets you on his hip, you are at his mercy. I love the way he navigates it. I do want to see how he adjusts when they start treating him like Harden and throwing different things at him to take this away.

Cade or Scottie is the rookie of the year in my opinion.

He has an old man game that looks like Harden, except Cade is more willing to take mid range jumpers and he's not as quick or strong as Harden.

Cade is not exceptionally athletic and fast. But he is already very skilled and very smart.

Yeah unfortunately. He already has an old man’s game. He plays at his own pace right now.

Old Jalen will probably just be a deadly shooter. Maybe a 3 and D guy. We don’t know yet what his playmaking will evolve into though. That could change his projection. Westbrook’s game would’ve aged just fine had he ever learned how to shoot.

Why did the Pistons even bother playing Cade last night if they were only gonna trot him out there for 7 minutes? All they did was hurt his season averages

I can’t remember a time where a team played 3 starters the 1st 7 minutes of the game, and then didn’t play them again…and they still won too because OKC is trying to lose by any means necessary.

Tanking is getting more and more embarrassing by the year.

That pissed me off for Cade. It’s dumb, but I really think that hurt his case for rookie of the year. At the end of the day, voters will look at the numbers and although his season averages were impacted in a negligible way, all those small sample size stats will be impacted like averages for the month, over the last x amount of games, etc.

If Silas does that I’m going to go crazy. I promise you.

I don’t even get what the point was or what they felt playing him a token 7 minutes was supposed to accomplish

    ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!

I absolutely hate his foot speed for a potential superstar, but he’s the only guy I CURRENTLY think has a chance to still be better than JG five years from now which is saying a lot because JG is screaming future star to me. This opinion is solely based off what I've seen from them all this season and what I'm projecting them to be down the road. Look at what he did to Luka on these 3 plays. I like how he took the challenge. Locked him up. You just don’t see that often. Luka be out here cooking Paul George and Kawhi Leonard like it's nothing.

Says a lot about Jalen too because I’m super intrigued by Scottie Barnes right now. He defends and plays 4 positions. Maybe even small ball 5 in a pinch. I almost feel like he is the one I might look at down the road and be like damn. Of course Evan is a 7 footer with limitless potential, but something about Scottie has my full attention.

Anyways, back to Cade, LOOK AT THIS! Damn, I bet he and Jalen would make an awesome backcourt because I bet CC struggles keeping up with small fast guys which is JG's specialty right now and there is no way Jalen is defending Luka like this. Zero

    lol, I’ve been slippin

Cade’s defense has been pretty impressive for a rookie…he puts that long wingspan to good use

    I think he’ll average 21, 7, and 7 next season

Pistons need to get some spacing around this man…Detroit is dead last in FG%, 29th in 3% point percentage, and 27th in 3 pointers made

the paint is always so packed and congested, but he still finds ways to get there and score

I love his midrange game too…it’s lowkey pretty good

once he gets his 3 ball more consistent, it’s gonna be scary hours
