Awesome! I actually got to watch the game on ESPN2. I recorded on the DVR so I can relive it again at a later time. Go Coogs!!! Kick some tail in Memphis!
I'm really proud to be a UH student tonight. What a great season. If we could have only hung on vs. Miami and not been hungover from that game, we may have been undefeated and got the BCS invite like Boise State
Texans... What a great game! I am so proud of my Coogs! There is nothing like playing a nationally televised game and showing off like that. Brings a tear to my eye
There were 12 seconds left when the play was over. That's plenty of time to get another play off. That was a terrible non-call by the officials on that play.
It brought a tear to my eye; reminded me of all the lousy calls the Coogs got in the Southwest Conference.
As an old Coog, this was a flashback to the glory days. Wow, the coverage of the game by ESPN was superb. Outstanding camera angles and great shots of the crowd. Wish I could have been there. This may be the turnaround in the program that we have been waiting for. The players look like a great bunch of guys, really animated and having fun. Red looked good tonight.
Yes, this a great day for Houston Sports. Art Briles had brought back Cougar Pride and after this, I would think the Coogs will now get some mad respect now in two sports.
Go Coogs! It's great to be able to finally display Cougar pride and proudly tell people I'm a Houston alum. Gone are those horrible, repressed memories of 0-15.
are they going to replay this game? i was at my works xmas party, so i didnt get to see it. go COugs. Awesome!. hopefully, they recruit well this winter, and they can reload. bring on whoever comes from the SEC.
I remember back in 96 i believe, don't remember exactly the year but it was my freshman or sophmore year when U of H won the Conference USA and now im happy to say they won again...very happy moment for me...
And the ESPN coverage won't hurt recruiting any, it made the UH program look very attractive. The Stadium looked really good on TV, I remember when it was embarassing. The fans were great.
I was fortunate enough to get to sit by Coach Briles' family...along with several of the folks from Stephenville. What a wonderful group of people. Seeing the elation on their faces when the game was over was truly magical. What a great night, and a great win. On a side note, I also noticed that the atmosphere during the game was a lot of fun....in fact, I would go as far as to say it was more entertaining than Reliant on Sundays.
man 2am to 4am? oh well, its 8 minutes til 2am. i have to work tommorow morning. atlest i have my nice supervisor in. maybe she will let me sleep at my desk.
