Weak argument. It's not ok for the other team to pile on your player(s) and keep them from getting the next play off in a timely fashion. Basically the entire team was lined up and ready to go with time left on the clock, but couldn't do anything because one of their players happened to be buried. UH running the ball wasn't the problem. Southern Miss playing cheaply (and I would imagine outside of the rules) was the problem.

If this were kosher, teams would be allowed to do it all game long, constantly causing the offense to rack up delay of game penalties. You can't just lay on someone as long as you please. Think about it.

And yes, this particular instance was blatant. Seriously, if that wasn't, what is?

And don't you just love how the commentators justify their actions by claiming one or two SMU players were getting off of Battle at a time, slowly but surely. Umm no, I saw 7-8 players laying on him and in no rush to move.

We have played much better defense in the 2nd half, hopefully we can mount another drive and create a liitle space.

How is that weak? UH should have never put themselves in position to be screwed by the refs. Hopefully for them it doesn't come back and bite them in the ***.

That was a great run by Kolb. The defese was completly fooled, and i didn't know he had that kind of speed.

He was actualy a big scrambler when he was a freshman.

Vincent Marshall is having a big game tonight, hopefully Alridge can break one soon.

That's what I'm talking about baby!!!

This nationally televised game has been a showcase for Kolb's arm and legs...I always knew he was good...We need to play a great team in the Liberty bowl...They say South Carolina, which will do, but I wish someone ranked...

Question of the night...Will they fans rush the field? I say yes, but i hope they cut to commercial... :p

South Carolina is quality opponent from a BCS conference, and we would get respect for beating Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks.

How do you drop that pick??????????
