I can't see the Bears passing Leftwich up.

I agree. I think Leftwich is just awesome. It's not just his arm strength but his accuracy is amazing. if you lok at Simms, he has tremendous arm strength.

Leftwich has great touch and anticipation. He also has great vision and a quick release. Classic drop back passer.

He is nowhere near the athlete Culpepper or McNair is. He has similair size as Culpepper and arm strength is similiar. However, He's much more polished than Culpepper is.

As a Texan fan, Im hoping we hold Chicago hostage and trade down 1 pick to allow them to take Leftwich/Palmer.

We can still get the player we want and maybe get an extra pick out of it.

I personally would LOVE to see the Cowboys draft Leftwich. If they want him they will have to trade up though. Cincy is looking like they are going to take Palmer, and I know Chicago is in desperate need of a QB. If Manning doesn't declare for the draft Lefwich will not make it past Chicago.

From what I've seen of Leftwich he has outstanding arm strenth, and is deadly accurate (especially on the deep ball). He's not very mobil but neither is/was Bledsoe. As long as Leftwich has a good o-line blocking for him he will be a super star in the NFL.

During the press conference to announce the Parcells hiring in Dallas, Parcells said that his first priority is to get the QB situation in order. There have been rumors of Dallas going after Plummer however I have heard that the Cowboys don't want to spend a lot of money on a vet QB, and that Plummer may want too much money (Dallas does not view him as the long term answer). Parcells seems to be looking for a vet QB to challenge Hutchinson (or any other young QB they bring in).

I have a feeling that Parcells will either move up in the draft to take Leftwich or will end up taking Simms at the top of the second round (if he's still there).

As for Cincy and the Qb they end up taking ... I REALLY feel sorry for whoever they take because it won't matter who it is Cincy will find a way to screw that kid up, and he will end up being a bust.

I think Leftwich would be a good fit on the cowboys. But for the Texans, I would love to see us draft Mcgehee, maybe griffin as a second rounder. I dont think he deserves a high first round selection AT ALL(I'm not sold on him.). Is kennedey that OL from Arizona or Utah or whatever? I wouldn't mind Charlie Rogers or Reshaun Woods. I think Woods is a steal.

Sadly, yes I saw it. I cringed on the floor on that first instant replay, which I have yet to see again on ESPN.

I heard that teammates were saying that he just tore ligaments. I hope that is it. You can see a couple post above how I thought he would be good in the NFL. Now he probably wont be able to declare for the draft. It was sick, and I dont see any site showing it. I hope he can return to play next year, and I wish him the best even though Im glad Miami lost.

He won't be a 1st round pick, after his senior season, thats for sure.

If you saw it, you should know why I say I hope thats just it. They probably know what torn ligaments is like, or they probably heard the trainer say something about torn ligaments. I'd say he is lucky if he didnt break his leg too.
