They would ask Pai, because Pai was asked to stall the vote while this was investigated and he did not.

Apparently understanding why mass fraudulent propaganda was pushed against a public policy decision, was something Pai already knew about, because he did not heed to the request.

Fairly obvious why he asked Pai to be honest.

why would you stall a vote because of fake comments? what outcome of the investigation would change the vote? why would you even investigate? It affects nobody. who in the world could possibly give a **** about some comments?

Are you telling me that if I want to stall some legislation from passing, that all i need to do is write some code to spam comments on the internet? Then maybe leak the fact i did to some stupid news agency that's dumb enough to think its important. Would this even be a crime?

I dont even know what a fake comment is. Somebody really made the comment. the words weren't chosen at random by a computer.

Were you dropped on your head as a baby? How could you ask such a dumb ****ing question? All these Trump jock sniffers are either pretending to be morons or they really are this ****ing stupid. I’m having a hard time figuring out which.

you make such a compelling argument for stalling a vote because of internet comments. I'm not sure which is more convincing 'were you dropped on your head?' or 'trump joke sniffer'.

Previous poster's question, is a good one. Are you stupid?

You are asking why we should investigate public opinion on public policy, and attempts to manipulate what public opinion is.

If you really need help understanding what is going on here, you are either being intentionally dense, or are just plain clueless.

of course. what crime are you claiming is being committed by putting some arguments on the web. identity theft maybe since they used a false name?

haha. 'attempts to manipulate public opinion' . You realize that is what every person who is talking about politics ever is trying to do? trying to sway public opinion.

I'm shocked anyone would think spending money on investigating who posted a political opinion on the internet is a good idea.

You seriously don't see the difference between knowingly faked opinions posted under false identities and a politician trying to sway voters under his own identity?
    This is absurd.

This is probably done by Russian hackers, wonder who requested this, maybe Mueller can find out if he is not fired.

no. look up ad hominem. an argument is right or wrong based on its own merits. who cares who makes it. Unless you are stealing someone's identity when making the comment then it shouldn't be a crime.

ok lets say this is true. Then what? BTW Russia already sent about 500K emails to the FCC in favor of net neutrality.

Oh tallanvor I learned my lesson a long time ago. Basso perfected this shtick way before you. Your posting history shows a consistent pattern of either pretending to not grasp fairly simple concepts or you’re really moving through life in a state of continuous bewilderment. Either way, you (same as basso) don’t warrant a “compelling argument”.

This has absolutely nothing to with ad hominem. If such a large amount of opinions were indeed faked but influential, it can have a significant outcome on the vote.
If you don't understand this then you have no understanding of society and political integrity.
