Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) made the Hulk movie.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see this was pointed out above. Allow me to use this space to say that all 80s cartoons with previous crappy movies based on them should be remade into good movies. Next up, GI Joe or Transformers.

Can't believe you'd take pot shots at Transformers: The Movie. So uncalled for. A cinematic masterpiece, starring Orson Wells.

From what I've read, Transformers is being written as we speak by Tom DeSanto who wrote the first X-Men. It will be based on the Generation 1 transformers, you know, the good ones before crappy characters like Rodimus Prime took over.

GI Joe is also in the works, it supposed to be a prequel to the cartoon series. It will show the rise of COBRA. Cobra Commander won't be in full costume until the end of the movie. Look for characters like Destro and Stormshadow on the COBRA side and Duke, General Hawk, and Snake-Eyes for the Joes.

Am I the only person on the planet who liked Paycheck?

And wasn't He-Man gay? I swear I saw something on VH-1 about that.

    This should be interesting.

No kidding. Man I was PISSED when all the cool guys got killed in that movie, which was really nothing but one huge commercial so a million kids would demand that their parents buy them all the new Transformers, crappy or not.

Live-action or animated? Sounds cool, either way.

man, you don't even know how much trauma my little mind went through when Optimus Prime died. If he dies again, and I have to relive that trauma - well, I'll be hurt - inside, where I'm soft . . . like a woman.

sorry for the hijack in advanced, but for those obsessed with tf's like me... you can keep yourselves informed here. the movie's producer is don murphy and he participates in the message board.

sorry for the derail. back to heman (which i'm excited about too).

Still, you guys have got to admit that killing off Optimus took some serious balls. That's a lot of sad kids you have to deal with. At least the way he went down was still pretty badass. I mean, he practically single handedly took out all the decepticons and rallied his guys back into battle. That whole sequence still chokes me up.
