There's really no quality FA pg out there that the Rox can afford that can fit the requirements for moving SF to the 2. Guess we could trade for one but that is the remotest of remote possibilities.

Steve can play either positions at the PG he just needs to believe in the fact that he needs to be a playmaker and a scorer. At the SG he might have a problem at defence and will be depend upon others to pass him the ball but could be a realy great scorer.

I really like DA, McInnis, D.Mason or M.Redd, but how do we get one? Seems hard to pull off.

I'd think Bucks need Mason to run with Ford instead of Redd's deadeye shot. However, Redd is BYC until Sept 30. Redd must agree to any trade before 30th September, 2003. However, he cannot be traded to Dallas. Maybe you could get Redd for Cato if you take A.Mason's 2yrs at 4.3 and a Gadzuric, but is that better overall? Redd's not a defender or assist man, just a shooter. A really good shooter. Does that make Francis and Yao better?

A DA/McInnis package seems like a better fit. both can help. I can't come up with much in the way of a reasonable trade. Best I could get was

    Dale Davis - Cato
    DA - Cuttino
Q Woods - Moochie and Nachbar

Portland gets out from under some contracts and gets younger replacements. Houston gets a f/c for 2 years, DA to run with SF, and potential sf in Woods.

I hope they keep him at the point. Flagrant1 summed my reasons up best in his post.
