Wayne Ellington is the fireshooter he is talking about.

The fire shooter from the Memphis deal deal would have been Ellington.

I like his edge. He just has to toe the line. If he goes to far and gets suspended, or gets a flagrant at the wrong time it could cost us. Everyone still blames Draymond for losing to the Cavs because of a stupid move at the wrong time.

That’s my only concern when it comes to his edginess.

Yes I expect the roster to be: (Playoffs)
    PG: CP3/ EGordon/ Rivers..............................(Shumpert/ Harden)
    SG: Harden/ GGreen/ Shumpert......................(Eric Gordon/ Rivers)
    SF: Tucker/ House............................................(Shumpert/ Markieff Morris)
PF: Markieff Morris...........................................(Tucker/ House/ Gary Clark)
    C: Capela/Faried/ Nene....................................(Markieff Morris/ Hartenstein)

I’m guessing NY will not play nice and buy out DJordan before March 1st. Tucker/House give me some of that SF
play I’ve been insisting the Rockets needed. Deep team......many interchangeable parts...wrist of Rivers should be better by playoffs.

I believe you're right about DJ. Whether Markieff comes here, I don't now, but he can help with spacing, rebounding and some post play. I don't think he can make much of a difference defensively, but he is no Faried when it comes to that. I entirely agree with you, that House will help with rebounding and defensive/ physicality. Any points that he scores will be gravy.

DJ is not going to get bought out. He seems very happy to be in NYC and they are playing well with him. Good culture vet and all.

    PG Paul
    SG Harden
    SF Gordon
    PF Tucker
    C Capela
    2nd unit
    PG Rivers
    SG Shumpert
    SF House/ or Green
    PF Morris
    C Faried

If we get Morris and House that's a deep roster. I really like that 2nd unit.

Rumor of P.Gasol buyout. Don't think would fit here with switching. Could be good for buckets.

I think Markieff would be a great addition if healthy. 85% healthy Morris pays off big for the Rockets.

Here are Markieff DRtg stats this year and last year (month to month): NBA/stats.com
    .................................17/18 DRtg...........................18/19 DRtg
    October.....................———....................................113.5
    November..................104.6.....................................117.2
    December..................105.3.....................................113.0
    January......................105.3.....................................———
    February.....................109.2....................................———
    March.........................105.9.....................................———
    April............................112.7.....................................———

You can see Markieff had a bad month of Feb last year. April was a throw away end of year month.

This year defense has taken a hit among most teams if not all teams. I blame the “Freedom of Movement” tag.
November this season had a lot of drama with Washington players. Morris could use another setting.

Here are the Rockets DRtg’s this year to this point: Basketball-Reference.com

    Player.........................................18/19
    Rivers..........................................117 (Houston).....116 (Washington)
    Eric Gordon.................................117
    Gerald Green...............................116
    House...........................................115
    Shumpert......................................114 (Houston)......111 (Sacramento)
    Gary Clark.....................................112
    Tucker............................................112
    Hartenstein.....................................111
    CP3.................................................111
    Nene................................................111
    Capela.............................................110
    Harden.............................................110

I saw Tucker vs Paul George in the 4th quarter of the most recent contest vs the Thunder and I like what I saw.
I’m guessing Paul George scored most of his 40-something points vs EGo and Shumpert prior to Tucker
    guarding him.

Keep Shumpert mostly at SG and adding Tucker/House to our SF ranks will help our defense tremendously. Morris
playing PF could probably bring his DRtg down to the 110-112 DRtg while with Houston as Capela helps him by
    playing next to him.

But but we had the most money to offer .

Except we didn't offer it because LT savings .

We were "aggressive" yet we wouldn't have signed him for another week or so .
