We need somebody tough. Somebody that will beat yo a**. Like Morris or ZBo. Both can knock down 3s. But ZBo can score down low too. Either way its good insurance for the playoffs. Just in case somebody goes down.

for everyone who doesn't keep up with Markieff Morris news.

This isn't some minor injury. Morris was ruled out at least six weeks in early January due to transient cervical neuropraxia. SportsMedToday calls it a "rare but dangerous" condition that effects less than 2-in-100,000 athletes.

Adding to the topic in question here, is it correct that the rockets can add a buy out player at the minimum and not impact the LT situation? And if so does that mean we could only add 1 player at the min or could we sign more? (Since we have open roster spots that need to be filled)

We can still sign someone to vet min because only a prorated amount of $1,512,601 (~$500,000 today) will count towards our salaries. If we can get some buyout candidates to wait on us, we can potentially sign two vet mins, and then sign House between games 81 and 82 so he only counts as ~$8000 towards salaries.

prorated salaries from the time of signing as far as LT situation.

scenario for example with 3 open roster spots: vet min is about $270,000 for the rest of year. There would be room for about two guys and then enough to convert House

    Thank you for answering.

I would assume Houston if interested in converting House wouldn’t wait until the very end. We’re not going to want to add House without playing him a bunch with the rest of the team unless it’s for injury insurance. Can’t “try things out” in the playoffs.

Gortat? We have four centers on the team already. Do we really need a fifth? I suppose he does have some size, but is he really going to play in front of Faried in our system? I guess he would be insurance in case of injury.
