IF this happens I would start doing the Sam "I've got Big Balls" Cassell dance all throughout the office.

He would be the vocal leader this team sorely needs.

If he can b****-slap McGrady and Yao into (mental) shape, then I am all for it! Trade/release whomever you need to in order to create roster space. Get rid of the PG glut we have. Keep Brooks/Alston for now, then focus on getting rid of MJ/SF3/Head.

I see something different, i see Cassell with his agent coming off the train getting picked up by Darryl, Les Alexander and some other staff members.
Before any1 can shake Cassell's hand he's slapping everybody a la 'against Rondo style' and tells Les: "Why the hell did you wait this long??"
Then tells Darryl: "Let's do this and forget about the money" Darryl responds: "Really?". Darryl puts his arm around him, Cassell pushes him off him and slaps him to the ground. "Hell no, pay me my money and guarantee me a starting position or kiss this 39 year old ass goodbye"

there's so many cassell threads out there this week.

 

I wouldn't knock the Celtics out of the ring yet, regardless of Rajon. Him and KG worked great in Minny, so I'd have to think there's major pull in that regard. Sam would want a shot at a ring, and we'd still be a gamble to make the West Finals with him.

That said, I'd be doing backflips if we somehow landed him.
