    Don't forget Amaechi. Stupid CD GAVE UP a first rounder to give away his expiring contract.

    But really that's all Juwan's worth is right now, a future expiring contract. We have to hope they can parlay that into something.

    I agree, Juwon can take the minutes at backup center next year if we can get a few more athletes and go small with our 2nd team.

    juwan howard and rafer alston's salary adds up to an allstars but their contribution adds up to nothing

    Sometimes they even trade expiring contracts (Rice) AND a 1st round pick for a bag of chips.

    That said, like NIKE said, Sura still is an asset. He is expiring 3.8M.

    I know, but they rarely utilize the Exp Contract.....it seems the value of those has gone down hill a lot since the NBA allowed that one time buyout option for guys like Finley etc.

    New York is buying out Francis because they think Francis is lame with his ankle injury and they have no use for him anymore.
