he drives a F150. don't diss ford. last time I told him my opinion, suddenly I've got the Ford F150 curse on me. Every F150 on the road is trying to cut me off. And then when I went out country western dancing, all these punks in the F150s screwed up the parking situation (they take up space). They should have specific truck parking at these joints. the focus still sucks though. that's my review on that car.
You were wrong about the F150 no longer being the best selling vehicle. It still is. You never went back to that thread though cause you suck. Also I don't drive one.
In America. Not the world. The article I posted was correct. Go to Europe or Asia and snap me a picture of one in the wild.
so, in the country western joint, do the girls judge you on your truck? I mean, there were people driving F150 supercabs, which really does screw up the parking situation.
that's one of my pet peeves. people with huge trucks, suvs parking in tiny spaces marked "compact", then you have about 3 inches to open the door when you're parked next to them. god knows they couldn't park a little farther in a regular parking space and walk.
The F 150 being the best selling truck has always been a bit of a farce. If GM combined Chevys and GMC pickups together, they'd win every year. I've never understood the need for the GMC line.
i'm disappointed you don't drive the F150 which you talk about so much. I'm guessing you drive a mustang.
I drove and F-150 after I sold my F-250. I spent to much on racing it so I bought a car. Oh yeah http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=157066&page=6&pp=20
my article was correct at that time. you can tell me who's has the best record in the NBA, it changes at point in time. My experience with Ford wasn't good, except for renting the Fusion, but the Focus was horrible. I'm not changing my review on that car. Back in the day I had a Ford Tempo, it sucked. I understand your patriotism dude. but if the japanese cars didn't up the ante on quality, then neither would the american cars. we'd drive broken down tempos. in the end, its not where it was made, its decided by the Consumer. the consumer has spoken loud and clear, but detroit didn't listen. that's why they are in such bad shape.
Consumer Reports general reliability findings as of December 2008 "Ford's three brands-Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury-continue to pull away from the rest of the Detroit automakers. Almost all Ford models are now average or better, with the exception of some that are truck-based. Excluding those, Ford's reliability is now on par with good Japanese automakers."
