this is another case of the left-wing taking something out of context to try to attack those they hate. it's getting tired. The out of control left wing is the new out of control right wing.
To varying degrees they have. Most people in the world have had a lot of respect for the U.S. To pretend like public opinon hasn't decreased isn't sane.

But at the time it didn't seem like it, and it was very clumsily done. I don't understand how bring up Bush's crazy poorly made analogy is "out of control". Can you think of a Middle Eastern equivalent? I can't... I can think of Jewish one. And he did get murdered. I can't think of Persian one. I can't think of an Arab one. "Equivalent" was a poor choice of term on my part. I was thinking along the lines of a Mossadeq, Nasser or Ataturk.
