I'm not sure of PTSD, but there were definitely mental issues. But that's not somehow unique to Iraq, which is all the more pertinent since the Fort Hood shooter never actually saw combat. Given that fact, to attribute it to the Iraq War is just fanciful political grandstanding.
Yeah, the guy was a lazy, lucky idiot with a child-like need for approval. He was showing these things on the flight to Mandela's funeral for god's sake.
Bush will be remembered for his incompetence: inherited a huge surplus from his predecessor, only to piss it away in his first 7 month in office making it easier for the 9/11 attack vowing to catch Bin Laden, dead or alive, only to change his tune to say it's not that important Iraq War failure inept handling of Katrina hurricane relief---making the US look like a 3rd-world country bankrupted the US economy and failed miserably to bail up the financial industry Obama will be remembered for his competence successfully bail up the financial industry capturing bin-Laden able to pass the Affordable Care Act, despite not having control of Congress, and then successfully implement it
^^ you have to be a troll If there's one thing that Obama won't be remembered for, it would 100% have to be a "successful implementation of Obamacare". LOL what a train wreck!! Sebelius even had to resign due to it!
as compared to the Medicare prescription-drug benefit that GW Bush had signed into law in 2006, Obamacare is a relative success
she did screwed up. despite her screw-up, the web site was fixed and "signed-ups" exceeded expectation. one of the characteristic of a competent leader is holding subordinates accountable. contrast that to an incompetent leader. in the midst of the Katrina hurricane episode, W lauded Michael Brown abysmal performance w "hecka job, brownie" W did not fired Condi Rice, who ignored Richard Clarke's warnings about potential terrorist attacks
George W Bush on diplomacy? BWHAHAHA Politics aside he is going to be remembered as the lesser Bush, a man-child born into wealth and privilege with a mediocre record of personal success prior to being elected President. As a President he will be remembered as an intolerant cad, out of touch and ignorant to the workings of the rest of the civilized world. He isn't U.S Grant bad but in that bottom tier of Presidents circling the drain of history... Folks born after his Presidency will say "What were they thinking?", folks alive during his Presidency that voted for him will deny it or ask for a do over.
