seriously, the part of me that still hopes for good from humanity is hopeful that for once a man means what he says, but the cynic in me doubts this will be the case.

that said, Ill probably end up voting Obama in hopes that things will really change.

    I'm surprised, Deckard.

Why McCain above GHWB? I wasn't a Bush I fan either, but compared to Bush Jr. or McCain, he'd be a dream.

Come on Deckard....everybody knows that Justice Antonin Scalia needed a president for his fan club. Justice Thomas has worked like a charm. :D

Very true! All Justice Clarence has to do is ask Justice Antonin how he's going to vote, pretend he's giving mucho thought to whatever the case is, and go the same way. Easy! :p ;)

    Impeach Bush.

I know it's fun to make fun of Justice Thomas, and he certainly wasn't qualified when he was appointed, but you'd do well to read his writing. It is a joy. His understanding of Constitutional Law and the writings of the framers is incredible. Justice Thomas has served the country well, and while he votes similarly to Scalia, he has a well-founded understanding and rules from that.

I'm not voting, based on incomplete information. We know that Bush was a miserable President. The information available leads me to believe that the some of the rest would be similarly bad, and some worse, but I don't know that.

lol, stop it, you're killing me, lol, no really, are you here all week?

Read his dissent in CBOCS West, Inc. v. Humphries for a nice display of his lack of understanding of the Constitution and unfamiliarity with precedent.
