The name isn't Ottoman, but ottomaton which is something else entirely. You could try and work in a robotic joke if you want, but the neither back nor arms joke won't be appropriate.

I called him Ottoman a couple of times, but only by accident. I had been reading about the Ottoman Empire, history being a passion of mine, and wasn't thinking. I apologized, when he pointed out what I was doing.

    (I can't spell this morning!)

What's the point in giving children health care? They are low investment at this point, don't contribute to society much (don't work) and easily replaceable. Let evolution do what it needs to do to keep our gene pool improving, otherwise you'll end up with sick kids becoming sick adults - think of the drain on all of us.

Ottoman is much better. Ottoman, the spineless robot better used as a foot stool. Perfect!

yeah, that's why i never got my phd in math.

so what did you study? oh...yeah, playwriting. which i hear you aren't very good at. boy, that must really suck and be frustrating to be mediocre in your career? maybe you can get a job washing dishes....if you need help, let me know, i can give you a reference to make sure no one feels you'd be underemployed.

Next time you want to lash out in frustration of how you feel people react to you here, please think before doing it.

I'm sure it is frustrating for you to have people attacking your words on this board all the time, and I'm sure that in your mind and your view you weren't doing anything that warranted what you've gotten.

But think about the statements you've made and whether or not they were all legitimate in your mind, you could try and understand how they come across on this board. There may be a reason why people react the way they do to your posts.

Trying to lash out in personal attacks on subject matters you know nothing about doesn't help your cause.

I think you go to a lot of trouble to make sure and give the impression that you are always joking on here, and exposing people, and performing some grand experiment. You go out of your way to try and make people believe that's what you're doing. So when you act out of frustration like this post, it belies the carefully planned image you are trying to present of yourself.

I love how NewYorker thinks that he is owning the board while publicly losing containment of his reactor core.

I do alright, New Yorker. And I'm pretty proud of where I'm at in my career. I'm not going to get into defending it. You're welcome to find my real name through search and google me. Of course, no one has any idea what you do for a living, what race you are or where you live and no one would believe you if you told us, since you've lied about each of those things. You're a silly duck.

OK, I think I've observed this enough to realize NY has a need for attention that can only be sated when he acts the fool and has people respond to him. He's like the sad kid in elementary school who eats boogers just so the other kids will notice him.

There's no way he's of the profession he's professed and can simultaneously be this bad with grammar and spelling. He's either lying about that or intentionally misspelling stuff to get a reaction. Either way, it's pathetic and no longer worth my time. I would suggest the same to others.

The following was said by Dave Barry, but could just as easily have been said by New Yorker:

ahhhh - thank you for caring so much. i can see that your nurturing side is coming out. you've written quite a bit to help steer me straight. Of course, what you write isn't lashing out is it? No my friend, you are a great cowboy, one that rides a horse too high to ever be touched.

    You concern is touching. Lovely.

Let me correct that for you:

"Of course, no one, except anyone who can comprehend sarcasm, has any idea what you......"

Just because you can't figure out the obvious, don't assume that others can't either.

But I am worth your time, this very post demonstrates it. I'm in your head buddy. And you can't help but reply to my posts. Not you, not sammy, not ottoman, not batman jones. Not thegary or billy bob....not the franchise.

You can't help but respond and go on a diatribic attack out of sheer frustration. That's what's truly pathetic don't you see?

    It's Shakespherian.
