appeared to me that he was exercising his freedom of choice and you didn't agree with that choice so offered him the alternative of "love it or leave it".

No, I think it should be reiterated as much as possible. As much attention as it gets, I think it should get more. I guess the word "secret" stuck out to me. This hasn't been a secret for years. The Bush Administration has pretty much done it out in the open, and we've let them get away with it too.

Man, I love that photo. (I've been there, as well) Did I post it first? I remember finding it on the net and posting it in a Hangout thread a while back. Anyway, I think I'm in love with the blonde! ;)

Hayes and basso: thank you for the kind words regarding my current course of action. Seeing as you both know me so well, your insight is fantastically relevant.

Moreover, since both of you seem to be willing to throw out any semblance of American law, ethics, and constitutionality in order to support your 'side', in this case you are little more than the BBS equivalent of Schadenfreude.

    Grow up.

God forbid brockstrapper. Either I conform to what some anonymous BBS blowhards constitute as appropriate action or I must be some sort of political degenerate.

Hardly, although I anticipated someone breaking out the ol' love it or leave it charge. If you'll review my response to mcmark I clearly am not saying love it or leave it. What I did point out is that if one doesn't care for the country, feels that no effort can fix it's problems, and is seeking another country's citizenship so that person can get out to another country, then why retain it's citizenship?

    A post worthy of you.

Lol, what a joker. I never made any such claims and never took such advocacy. However, if your interpretation of 'growing up' is throwing our hands up in hopelessness and jumping ship to another country, thanks but I'll pass. Have a nice trip.

You're such a dick. Congrats on another series of absurd backtracking and bizarre absolutes.

Outside of NewYorker and DonkeyMagic (who don't really count) you are the best at remaining irrelevant.

    Auf Wiedersehen!

There is no backtracking, rhad. Each and every one of my posts on this issue are entirely consistent. If you want to backtrack on your comments or show how they are not in context, please do so. Start with your original post and explain how I have misrepresented your words. Good luck since I quoted you directly in my responses, lol.

I was commenting on your posting history, not this little salvo of toddler-esque nationalist rhetoric.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA lolz.

Suffice to say, my decisions are my own, do be somewhere above the age of 12 and try to understand that just because you are insulted for some reason does not mean that I do it intentionally, nor that I give a **** what someone as goofy as you thinks.

Yep. That's what I thought. I've represented your position exactly as you stated it. Now you babble insults and pretend you can gloss over the substance. That's a different tactic, lol.

Rambling Rhad, lol. Can't even finish a thought before you hit reply and then have to go back and edit. C'mon now, Rhad - don't say you don't care! I don't know what I'd do if one more bbs poster devolved into insults instead of answers about their own position. Boo hoo.

I'm sorry hayes, at what point did you assume that accusing me of "running away" was not an insult?

And at what point did you cease to understand the notion of "history" as more than just the last 10-odd posts on a message board?

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Again, please grow up. Otherwise, instead of just lamblasting my little statement, please explain why it is that you are so offended and irritated?

    *sigh*

If we would have seen that AL Gore in 1999 the world would have never known G W Bush.
