I'm at work and all, and I'm riding the elevator. This lady gets on. Then, I'm like, ya know, I haven't swung by her place in a while.

So... Let's play at Macalu's old place. Damn the heat,

I'm down for a reunion tour at the rec center. I don't mind paying the one time fee.

so do you ever play at any of them? I usually play at the meyerland location on Tuesday nights. In fact I'm about to head out there and workout and play some afterwards.

I play at the one off of Fairmont in Pasadena all the time. Usually about 3 days a week. Heading there in a bit, actually. Meyerland is a bit far but I'd go if we got a group together....but how would we get them in...?

Maybe UH is a better idea.

you can't unless you know someone at the front desk. I'm just saying these guys NEED to get one so they can workout and play ball.

I think our best bet to get together once more is the rec center. we could probably discuss future locations from there.

how much is membership for the one to go to all gyms?

there is one over on 290 and bingle, but it doesnt have a court.

i dont mind going to the meyerland one. i don't mind going to the one on 45 near the WOW furniture place off of edgebrook. acutally, i never looked into it to see if it has a basketball court.

i kinda know the pasadena area a little bit better now.

yea, but unless you're there morning/midafternoon, don't expect to play much. it's basically packed from 6pm to 10 pm.

it sounds like most want the uh rec center. again... there's the fee and i don't mind it the least bit, but i'm not sure if we get there early if we can get a game with just clutchbbs members or not.

also, there's an outdoor court on s heights and memorial. just google map "houston, tx, spotts park". i played there before in the afternoon and there wasn't really anyone there. it's covered so at least it's in the shade.

    or...

... we can get kicked out of the rice courts indoors again. :)

sooo... voting on places (more suggestions welcome), time and date. i'll start off by saying weekends is cool and any court is cool. rec center is my first preference. spotts park is my second (tough rims there though. have to hit all net for it to go in).

and sishir would but the s.o. is coming back into town hommie.

uh rec center's fine with me paying at least for once or twice.

spotts park doesn't seem like a bad idea either after we all get tired of paying fees :)

I might make it. Just post the time and place. Rec center is fine, i can borrow my friends card to get in. There is also a court right outside of the rec center. Its 4 courts wide and its usually not pack. Just letting you guys know.

man, Ive been wondering if we were ever going to get together again. I havnt played for months but always got an urge to play.

id prefer whenever and wherever the best chance for us to get on a court and play among ourselves. the times at the past, UH was usually pretty packed and we couldnt do that. but again wherever is fine.

lets get a team together again.

i think a Saturday or Sunday NOON start time anywhere would pretty much guarantee the court to ourselves.

that's quite early but it's our best chance. how does everyone feel about about the July 28-29th weekend? we can vote on which day would be best.

as for getting into a league, i was hoping we could set up a softball league. it allows more people to play and costs less per person. i don't know if we can get enough folks to commit though.
