The details might have been a bit off but the message is clear. Our defense has some serious flaws. We will likely never win it all until this is addressed, via trade, free agency, internal growth etc. This is a case of shooting the messenger because she delivered a message we didn't want to hear. OP needs to realize that national TV announcers have to keep up appearances on national TV. They can't lean extremely one way or the other and still expect to keep their job. This isn't Matt and Bill on the local feed nor those bozos in Boston, Chicago and Atlanta.

Yes, she's definitely biased against Houston. It's not the poster who probably owns a bunch of Rockets gear, goes to or watches a bunch of games cheering on the Rockets and posts on message boards about Houston. No, It's the national announcer who is doing her job that is biased. Great post. Why is she biased against Houston? What evidence? It's that she didn't say the ****ING 5th SEED in the WEST is a CONTENDER. Maybe her issue is that this team isn't good enough to win a title?

She was rooting for the Pelicans, until James Harden knocked down Clutch Shots, it made her quiet which I enjoyed. The Danuel House Corner 3 was my favorite, it made her angry.
Zion looks like Fat version of Shawn Kemp. James Harden is 30 years old and he looks faster than Zion or Luka Doncic.
I do not like her but she is still better than 99% of national commentators who btw OP are male. I rather listen to 100 hours of Doris drooling over Zion than 10 minutes of Reggie. Her opinions on our contender status aside, it seems she genuinely dislikes announcing our games. Our style of play is widely criticized so I get it, but it is painful to listen as a fan, which is compounded by her painfully mechanical delivery.
I don't like national broadcasts and having to listen to her. She's like having to listen to your annoying Aunt during a ballgame driveling on about nothing, trying to make it sound like she knows what she's talking about. Bleh. . . .

There have been a plethora of threads involving the takes of male sports pundits and announcers on CF. Let's don't pretend she's 'special'.
Not a fan or a hater, but she is dead on accurate about our pathetic defense and her constant criticism of our 6’6” and under lineup (which is not a long term solution).
