Glad this story is in the Hangout and even more glad that you CFers didn't turn it into some racial bashing(as happens on other forums, websites, etc).

Main thing is

That vile, disgusting, excuse for a male human needs to be caught, given the death penalty. Hopefully beaten every single day in the penitentiary and then executed not be lethal injection but by firing squad or hanging.

I think I was actually trying not to shed any tears when I saw that clip yesterday because of how bad that was. I don't know how the woman's husband could watch that and not want to break something, pick up a rifle and walk through the streets to find that sonuvabitch.

 

That's one of the things I like about America. If someone try to invade your home you have the right to shoot him. Here in Canada, we don't have that right. We must ''wait'' until the police shows off. If someone kills a bulgrar he will be charged.

 

I kept thinking if that happened to my loved ones, I would get vigilante justice. This assailant had to be under the influence or just plain evil to hurt someone repeatedly after it's clear she was not resisting him.

Off-tangent: a lot of the racial posts you in comments section of new articles and YouTube videos are anonymous posts. I guarantee you someone reading this thread has very bigoted conclusions. They just won't post because they know they will be criticized. Social/peer influence is a great check in that regard.

A good sized dog (better yet, two) would have gone a long way toward preventing this. A gun and some target practice for the woman and the dogs would have been optimal. The dogs would scare the guy away or at least buy her time to go get the gun, come back, aim and fire at this fool's face would have been nice.

 

Absolutely disgusting. I wish she would have had some dogs and a top notch alarm system to get that a-hole caught and punished.

 

Every place I have ever lived (apartments, duplexes, houses, etc) has had doors that could be kicked in easily. It has actually happened to my family twice, and countless friends and co-workers.

Now that I own my own home, I have reinforced all the door jambs with sturdy strike plates and longer screws. It is so inexpensive to do this that I can't believe it's not a common building practice. Literally, about $20 per door.

The poor woman in the video, it seems like her door caved in on the first kick, so she had no time to call the police, gather her kids, find a weapon, retreat to safety, etc. Even if she had her alarm armed (I don't know anybody that does that in the day time when they are home) I think he would have forced her to disable it. My alarm has a 30 second delay before the monitoring center is notified. The guy didn't even cover his face, made 3 trips upstairs, and assaulted her for several minutes. Beating her, throwing her into a wall, and then down the stairs in front of her 3 year old kid, that was just brutal.

 

Absolutely horrible. That guy has some serious problems as I doubt a robber just interested in money would bother to do that. He needs to be caught before he hurts someone else.

 

So did they catch the guy?

Man I avoided this thread... until now -- god how I wish I was in that room to fight that guy. That poor mom took some severe violence and somehow kept herself cool and saved her kid from the same abuse. If I was the husband it would be hard not to try and kill that man after watching what he did -- not trying to be a tough guy, but it gets your blood boiling.

 

I hope he too gets pounded.
